Ok, good luck. It is one of the problems that really helped me learn how to formulate solutions/algorithms. Plus just in case you'd be a developer that would involve check printing and etc, that'll come handy.

Create a program in java that converts numbers into words.

example:

when input is 1,
output should be "one",
when input is 1999
output should be "one thousand nine hundred ninety nine"

oi for those who are interested to learn the art of Java programming. Visit mo sa Call Center Academy. Just bring 2 copies of 2x2 picture (any background) and 3 copies of 1x1 picture (any background) and also resume.

All you got to do is take the exam worth 2o items. (don't you worry if ma fail sa exam)
Then mo pay ug 1,000 (bond but refundable if you finish the 60 days worth of 4 hours/day training.)

Schedule for the training will start next Tuesday (January 31, 2012) IF all slots are filled up, i think they still need 10 more students.

you mean logic/algorithm problems?

dont forget to do the reverse sa number to words prob.
so,
Create a program in java that converts words into numbers.

Then also, you can try these:
1. create a horse karera game using threads.
2. create a java chatting program in a network, that could cater group discussion.
3. create a time adjuster for dvd subtitles (kanang ang subtitle kay mag-una or maulahi)
4. create a spell checker.
5. create a java version of minesweeper.
