yes bro.. i understand you bro... but im always saying bro, that just view the network marketing distributor business as just another investment, always keep your eyes on your ROI.... i believe businessman pd ka bro, and very analytical,,, but you analyze too much..... if mo sulti ta og politics, corruption mn ato ma isip pd dayon... same pd sa customs or sa police,,, mga hugaw na pd image.... but the system is good... mo likay na d i ta ana

Franchising bro? The DTI even warns the public against franchising entities that victimize mostly OFW and their relatives.... Daghan ayu scams sa franchising oi... pero it would not stop me from considering a franshise business... Ricardo Cuna, president of the Association of Filipino Franchisers Inc. (AFFI), said more and more unscrupulous individuals were taking advantage of the trend, especially to victimize first-time business owners who wanted to try a venture with very minimal birth pains.

In Franchising, you pay expensive upfront fees to BORROW the successful business model of another person.... you pay him royalties.... you give a big portion of your monthly sales to the first person who started the business... Aside from being required to BUY all your products from them.... subject at their own prices, rules, etc2X... scam? of course not.

same rman sila ka abused og ka overused sa network marketing.... daghan kaboang sa kalibotan, dili na nato malikyan jud, ky tanan industry og tanan lugar ky naa jud mga kaboang.... ato lang e improve ang ato self,,, to be able to distinguished which companies are worth our time.. dili e reject altogether tanan nlng...

now il be saying this again mga bro, that just view the network marketing distributor business as just another investment, always keep your eyes on your ROI.... inyo gi tanaw mn gud ky millions2X pd.... nindot onta na if hundreds of thousands inyo gi butang pd.... pero if mo butang mo og 10k - 50k then you recover that in 3 - 6 months.... are you not doing a very good business? iv tried traditional, food business, i think im successful considering that it is giving me some positive net,, and compared to other businesses there that lasted only 1-3months mostly... mas dako pa sila investment, mas dako pa sila edad, grabeee, tsk, dili lang kamao mo analyze siguro.... pero i cant still recover my total investments in a year...

Don't analyze too much,,,, if butang mo 3k-70k, where mn na mas dako og value? sa traditional or sa network marketing?
when mn mas ma recover na nimo og pas2X? when mn ang mo hatag na og bisan slight na possibility na maka earn ka og passive income after even 10 years of working for that?

ky hilig jud ta mgpa member if nahan na ta sa products gud.....
i also like the people.... well, of course, dili tanan,,, pero ana jud na, hehehe.
me and my GF are also loyal consumers of the supplement, close minded ko networking jud pero ang product ang
nagpa open nako.... the product is telling me 2 months ago,, "hey, this is worth checking!",,,
by d way, 70% of the time we talk about the products.
cge oi,,, dili na ko mo sulti about sa company ky tyg e block npd ta.... nahan lang nako ma emphasize
gud na naa pa daghan diha na mga nindot jud, very viable and sustainable businesses,,
i believe this company will live more than i do gud... so why not i be part of it....
i dont really recommend doing it full-time,,, if wa pa mo naka established og good customer base,,
that will give you residual income.... i also keep on saying to everyone,,, if you are going to do network marketing,

some companies that i dont like is those offering multiple heads... and with referral fees for recruitment... and those that sells the business first instead of the product... networking money comes from repeat purchases,
not from pairing2X or onsa diha....im not saying they are not legit network marketing companies,, some are...

i must admit Bro Makie,,, 3 months ago,,,, maybe i would agree 100% on you jud... about network marketing...
esp. i also follow most of you guys in your threads about MF, stock market, and etc.... so i have some
form of high regard on your inputs sa una pa..... but not on this one,,,

    about the product prices bro....

In network marketing,, there is such a thing as a maximum payout of a single purchase....
sa amo case is 50% goes to the system...
and 50% goes to the manufacturer/company,,,
gina business-strategically distributed lang ng 50% jud..... thats how the system is mn gud....
we are the distributors, the advertisers, the educators,

do you know how much money you are giving to john lloyd when he said "Ingat" as you buy one Biogesic tablet?
By the way, e sisingit ko lang, Paracetamol (also known as Acetaminophen in the US, popularized by Tylenol) is the LEADING CAUSE OF ACUTE LIVER FAILURE in Europe and the United States.

    In traditional distribution and marketing:
    40%± Manufacturer -> 30%± Distributor -> 30%± Wholesaler -> 30%± Retailer = 100% to 130% Consumer

In Network Marketing (using my 'own' company as an example):
    50% Manufacturer -> 50% Distributor Compensation Pay-out = 100% Consumers

30% usually ang dapat jud mark-up if mag business ta.... if lower pa ana,,, it is not worth it...

In finding a network marketing company pd,,, find a company pd na it is also the manufacturer of the products it distributes... dapat established pd ang manufacturer pd... og dili ta anang ga manufacturer2X lang ky para maka apil sa biggest megatrend in the 21st century which is network marketing.... ky nahitabo ana gud,,, ang network marketing business model ang ilaha real product,,, bisan business model na or business system.... so check DSAP for a list of companies na pwede nimo e consider, daghan mn inana pd.... mao ra na ako advice.... if di member sa DSAP, i think it is not worth checking....

in today's time,,, most consumers based their decisions on choosing products on family & friends' recommendations,,, people whom they trust..... then people are now giving more value on their time pd... they also want it delivered, they want customer services, before-and-after sales services,,, they want to feel very important jud.... which is the REAL network marketing is really about...

i am not saying that all products from network marketing are real and very good jud....
but some of the products in traditional distribution pd ky dili mn pd maayo db?
atoa lang gud ana ky e evaluate jud tarong tanan jud.....
og dili mo close minded sa way of distribution,,, ky pamaagi rman na, look pass that
e evaluate ang dapat og onsa ang angay e evaluate jud, mao na ang mismo products jud...
ky ang network marketing distribution, whether you like it or not,,, it existed legally...
and i believe network marketing is a more efficient and effective way of distribution....
it is an innovation.... like outsourcing..... to increase the company's efficiency and effectivity,,,
they will just outsource some services that are not really part of the main business
(like customer service) to a company that is 1st class in doing that
in a much lower hassle and costs.... ky mao mn na ila business.... complete mn sila infrastructures,
trained personnel, systems,, etc2X... i believe BPO is a booming industry pd....

businesses are now trying to focus more and more on their main business....
they delegate, they specialize,, they outsource, etc..

the era of manufacturing the highest quality products or giving the highest quality services are now sharing with the era of distributing efficiently these products/services to gain the highest returns....

    IMHO...

    @Dorjan:

What I'm stressing out is nganong lisod kaayo ang networking diri sa Philippines. I and my parents were once members of a few networking companies (FLP, DXN, Nu Skin) and I've read a handful of books and articles about network marketing (on top of the business books that I have read). I'm an advocate of network marketing as well provided that its legal and what the company and its members are doing is right. Sad to say, because of the success that most legal and legit MLM companies have achieved before like FLP, DXN, some people are "intelligent" enough to think and take advantage of what most Filipinos like the most, instant gratification. Hence came FQ. If my memory serves me right, FQ was like the Jeremy Lin or Jessica Sanchez of networking before, grabe kainit, grabe kasikat, and because of the ignorance of most people, dali ra kaayo makarecruit. Over the years, FQ's marketing strategy became the norm. Why sell when you can earn through mere recruiting?

Tungod ana, MLM is very tarnished to the point that when you talk about networking, scam na dayun ang mosulod sa ulo sa mga tao. People are very defensive. Though I'm not against networking totally, I've got my reasons why I'm not totally sold into it even if its legal and legit. Here's some:

1.) Most MLM companies sell food supplements. There's no way I'd be selling food supplements. I have a very macho image to keep. hahaha!! <kidding>. Seriously, since most MLM companies are selling food supplements, competition is very high. Aside from other MLM companies, I'd be competing with pharmacies and malls. Of course, the main competition are other members that aren't my downlines. And most of all, food supplements aren't my thing.

2.) Products are generally expensive. MLM companies use the "word of mouth" concept in order to gain a huge market share. They justify that such strategy eliminates advertising and marketing costs. However, companies really doesn't eliminate such costs, they just redirect it. It goes to commissions. And since most legit and legal companies are foreign companies, they'd include shipment costs. In fact, advertising costs may even be less than total commissions given. Because the products are generally at the higher end, not everybody can afford it.

3.) And lastly, guba kaayo ang image sa networking. Everybody's perception of networking is scam. People have default notions about networking and its very hard to change that.

If you get into business, you have to be analytical and as much as possible, see things in all perspective. Most people join networking companies because all they see is the potential earnings but doesn't look at what's behind it. Mao nang daghan kaayo ang mascam and daghan kaayo ang di kabawi sa ilang capital. Worse, daghan kaayo ang di matagam.

I just don't join a company or start doing anything just because of the earnings. Aside from profitability, I look at competition, lesser competition ba? Concept of the company or business, is it sellable? Can it make an impact to other people's lives? Much more, is it stable? And most of all, is it something of my interest?

Don't get me wrong. I'm not totally against MLM, networking (but I'm 100% against scams, pyramiding) but I've got some standards to keep and follow.

But since this thread is all about "why people hate networking", then I'm enumerating the reasons and negative side of networking. Maybe you can start a different thread about networking or "why people love" networking then I'd post my positive inputs there.

Daghan na ko posts diri na thread pero wa pa ko tobag sa question jud ni TS.

Ngano man daghan nag lagot sa Networking Business?
i think the real reason jud is that network marketing is more about people jud gud compared sa oban systems....
and we know people.... people... people... people.... some are good... many are bad... hehehe.

education is always the root cause jud... hehe.
right education on what is real network marketing jud.... my opinion is not like sa oban diha,,
it is real business,, and like other real businesses, it is not for everyone jud....
sayun rman ayu mo sulod gud.... og nindot ayu ang system gud.... ma entice jud tanan...
but it is not for everyone jud.... learn first... dili ta mo dogang sa ka bad image onta....

of course daghan pa laen reasons jud.... mao lang na ako nakita na pinak big reason jud...

haha. honestly, my GF sells the supplement... hahaha.
pero actually, we just share the benefits of it gud, wa mn mi ga dali gud,,, di mi ahat....
di mi mka kita sa recruitment mn bro,,, walay use mg ilad2X,,, sa repeat purchase mn ang kwarta gud,
iv got to get people who love the product, as it is (without the business side),

in the company i am with bro....
globally, around 40% or almost 40% ang preferred customers (not included in the business)...
the product, as all other supplement out there is complete pd sa tanan certifications, og sobra pa,,
Halal, sports, etc2X... it is also composition patented... which means that if another individual or company will try to duplicate the product, bisan gamay na change sa composition, dili jud pwede.... unlike the utility patent of most vitamin C.... na daghan na ayu jud Fern C, Mega C, Ultima C, Ultra C, Vital C,, etc.. in all medical history, it is the 16th (the latest) that was awarded with such composition patent by the US Patent Office... the other 15 composition patents are given to prescriptive drugs.... it undergo the strictest of all clinical studies, gold standard of all prescriptive drugs.... the composition patent is also a protection to the consumers ky para what is results in the clinical study,, mao jud imo ma kuha pd... dili lang na sa company.... and all im saying is, ur 1st reason does not really apply to the company i am with.

bisan asa bro,,, daghan jud competensya,,, mangita lang jud ta og something na mo stand out jud sa competition....

yes bro,, not everyone can afford it... ana mn jud na bro... not everyone can afford jud.... but i think, if everyone can really try the product and have the results they really are praying for.... the product price is cheap nman, compared to the real UNIQUE benefits jud.. they will going to try to afford it... they will try to weigh things.... the value of the product really depends on the consumers bro.... bro,, i think, ako na ni na post ang about sa product costs,,, basta ang bottomline bro, we should evaluate the total value of the products, not just the monetary value, if balance, wala problema..... subjective mn pd na.
