Chapter XVI
Again, we went to their house in the mountain top.
The roasted pig (lechon) was delivered on time. It was about lunch when our family and my girl's family were on the lunching/dining table.
"Unsa mang buwana magpakasal?", her mother asked. I quickly replied last week of May. Everybody approved. Then a specific date (May 30) and church (St. Catherine of Alexandria Church in Carcar).
My mother along with my brother were my companion during the event against the whole barangay.

But we never felt out of place because of the warmth given to us by our soon to be relatives.
Most of us has this concept about marriage, "Two become One". But for me, "One becomes Two" and more. Through love, our families expand.
And then time ran fast. Schedules for the requirements and necessities of the wedding rushed.
As in dili gyud lalim.
