Off course, all of us filipino has a subject of pilipino in Elementary, High School, and College.
With additional of Faith then it will be cleared.
What bro. Eli preached, the verses is been displayed in the screen so that we can attest if he says not in the bible, that's a clear conscience of Preaching the Word of God, it must be taken from the bible not by their own.

    Peace!

I'm pretty sure that what you've read is not the bible because you don't even believed on it. How can you understand faith to the fact you don't have
    .
i understand what you mean but your logic is too shallow, your understanding regarding the word FAITH is closed or bible dependent in the sense that you only based your description on the word in your so called BIBLE the big confusing black book... you always assume that only you and your people are capable of understanding that word.
mr. bible dude I can only have faith in something or someone, if that something or someone has already earned it or proven in a way that human mind can comprehend. I am not giving it to anybody unless i see proof that he/she/it has the power to do it or do something. through scientific theories, scientific ananlysis or common sense, but never in superstition or fantansy or anything unexplainable by natural law.

    wake up.

Since you wont accept the bible about the meaning of faith how about human meaning about faith.

Faith is a belief, trust, or confidence, not based on logic, reason, or empirical data, but based fundamentally on volition often associated with a transpersonal relationship with God, a higher power, a person, elements of nature, and/or a perception of the human race as a whole. Faith can be placed in a person, inanimate object, state of affairs, proposition or body of propositions such as a religious creed.

This is just your own opinion, we don't have claim that we are the only one who are capable of understanding. Everybody is capable just open your heart, mind and have trust and faith to God then we will have the same understanding.

    Peace!

    Context and usage
Although faith has generated many roots in religion, it is not necessarily a religious word and is not exercised solely in God and god alone, but can apply to any situation where judgments are made irrespective of evidence.

Faith in something means to have experience with that something and then, due to this experience, judging and concluding so that you can predict an action of this something in a positive way. So for example a sister may leave the house for university, she returns in three years time to find her sister has not opened her diary which she explicitly asked her not to, even though her sister had every opportunity to open it without her knowledge or consent. The older sister would now have faith in the younger sister, judging by that experience she concludes that she can predict that anything else she trusts with here sister is safe. This is faith.

Then your example will eat your words, the faith in your example was happened in between 3 years away but when the older sister found out that it was not opened then its reality.

Faith something we hope for and when it comes its not faith but reality.
Its like this , I have faith that on the 30th of this month you will have a salary then you hoped for it, then when the 30th of this month came and then you've received your salary then its not faith anymore its reality that you've your salary.

    Peace!

you pasted in the site yet you disagree the other definition, you don't consult the scenario, the possibility that the older sister will trust her younger sister is clear and simple (they are sisters) otherwise if it's another person, i doubt she will trust her private stuff to that somebody. and because she trusted her sister, she has faith in her. .... in any case your difinition is too dependent.

ur kind of faith is fideism:
    - one ought to believe that something/someone exists, but one should not base that belief on any other beliefs; one should, instead, accept it without any reasons at all.

    which is really illogical.

Youre wrong on that my friend, i didn't base my belief on your belief if so why should we contradict.
I just used the bible as my basis and the fact that you ignore or doubted the bible.
Its not just my faith, belief that make you act like this its just my basis are from the bible and you don't honor the bible and just call it the big black book.

^^si RCRUMAN na-ay kaugalingon nga dictionary jawbreaker...palit ka sa ilang bookstore and if mag post si rcruman....basaha ang meaning sa imung gipalit nga dictionary...

You keep on insisting about this that I have my own dictionary, my basis is the bible and yet you haven't prove it wrong, but instead you just keep on saying that its not the meaning. Then if not show me the meaning which is in the bible. You didn't even use the bible as the reference but rather tradition.

    PEace!
