When I was a little kid, I remember eating at Club Filipino and Magellan Hotel where Ayala now stands. During that time, there was Belvic and Gaw. Dairy King had good ice cream. My Dad brought me there when my first baby tooth got pulled out. We used to buy bread from Elite Bakery, and we drank mango shake in Foodarama, which was the only place you could do grocery shopping. My Uncle used to ride bump cars at Merry Mart across the Redemptorist Church. My Aunt would disco at a place called "Inner Circle". When I was in the Cub Scouts, we would go camping in Busay which back then had no roads. There was only one Mactan bridge and Marigondon was free to the public. Orange Brutus was the only good burger place and Shakey's was the only pizza.
