Is communism encourage innovation, self-reliance, and economic freedom? I think it's not. Empirical shows that in order to achieve communism is to kill any opposition to proletariat dictatorship and also communism never really encourage private entrepreneurship that is harmful to economy in a long-run. Russia, China, Eastern Europe, or even Cuba is discarding the economic aspects of communism and adopting the main principles of capitalism that is property rights, innovation, self-reliance, and economic freedom.
