    Mao pud ni ako problema karon kung how long the item be replaced, it is with my 23" led(HP x2301) monitor nga naa ni appear little white spot(pea size) on the upper left corner sa screen thu dili jud kau noticeable. Any idea guys kung pila ka days cya ma replace? Anyway I bought it from G.I. last February thu wla pasad ko katawag sa ilaha about the issue.

    ^^GI-7days outright, 6months usual service warranty(RMA)..

    naa na sa resibo jeanrash naka state didto ang warranty sa GI.

    this is printed on receipt....
    -if found def. shipped to supplier
    -no box no warranty
    -no receipt no warranty
    -VOID warranty if physical damage
    -VOID (tampered sticker
    -1week ouright replacement
    -6mos/12mos depende sa item service warranty
    -keep the box for warranty purposes...

    Thanks for digging this thread. Now I know about PC Quickbuys warranty style

    Remember that store before it was changed to Columbia? I get to buy there an HDD that died around 9months (of the 1yr warranty). Months after when it was finally returned to me, it was same brand and capacity but a different drive. It was old and used and the label was already brownish, kinda like a 10 year old item. Of course, it died 4 months after.

    So I tell that story when I asked about warranty policy in Quickbuys, the sales guy said they don't do that, and that there is a serial that will determined it. Heh, I guess he was just sale talking me

    I have tried getting the warranty coverage before mostly 1 to 2 weeks jud na kay iforward paman gud na nila sa manufacturer, but since wala man ko naka experience ug problema, tried ko before naguba ako usb then 1 week before ma replacesan, then pagabot na wala naman stock ato nga model, instead ig 512MB nga flashdrive ila gi-ilis, ila nuon ko gihatagan ug 1GB kay wala na daw to nga model sa mas maayo nuon, ok raman lahi nga model ihatag basta same specs/performance or better, depende sa customer...

    Wala ko kabantay pwerting pagka ukaya pero nice topic...

    as i was reading thru sa thread, talking about Ati 9200 graphics card, i was like... what the hell, hu would care about warranties for those items? then i realized... sh*t..

    then my day just died...
