The path to the Republican nomination works through a delegate system, dili popular vote. Sure, naa silay mga primaries wherein mag-vote ang mga Amerikano, but most of it are just meaningless straw polls. Some of it doesn't indicate kung kinsa ang makadaog sa straw

A candidate needs to have 1,144 delegate votes in August to clinch the nomination. According to the media, Romney has around 600+ delegates. Pero estimates ra na. We will only know if he has enough delegates in the actual convention in August.

So Romney is not the nominee. Pwede pa maka-apas si Ron Paul or si Newt Gingrich (though I personally hope na maka-apas si Ron Paul).

If no one, including Romney, doesn't get the necessary 1,144 delegate votes in the Republican convention in August, naa na sad second round of voting sa convention. This is what they call a "brokered convention". So as you can see, this race is far from over.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Huntsman was the only Republican worth voting into office. Strong background in foreign policy, centrist views etc, but the far right would have none of it.

longshot na kaayo na si Ron Paul bai. The GOP isn't fond of him, the mainstream conservative media isn't fond of him. But the younger moderates nuon, ganahan niya.

^ and to include, ang rich businessmen in america are also not fond of him too. wala siya political donors sa mga big companies like goldman sach, JP morgan chase, citigroup corp, etc. ang mga military hinuon are his donors, pero gamay ra na compared sa mga big companies.

i dont have problem on hillary clinton if siya ma president. she is also one reason of former president bill clinton's success. and other women in republicans such as sarah palin & michelle bachmann are not even comparable to hillary clinton. perti ra intawn layu-a nila.
