you can call PCCI and confirm that the PCCI registration # exists but unfortunately, this does not assure you that the dog in the papers is the actual dog. some people get 'real' papers but use it on ANOTHER dog....this makes the papers fake too as the said dog does not reflect the dog in the papers. so the papers may be REAL, but it is not used on the right dog...its still FAKE. the only real way to ensure that the papers match the dog is if the dog has a microchip number AND the microchip number is written on the papers, which the PCCI too has to regulate.
