Depende sa design TS. Pwede DC or AC motor... Sa design or circuit diagram ana, adto ta mangutana sa mga CompE, kay ila nang field of expertise. Basin mag sayop2x ko ug explain, ma uwawan ta.

Kanang sa Ayala, mao ning ge gamit TS. Ang Photoelectric proximity sensor acts as a switch, mo trigger ni siya ug ON or OFF if at a predetermined distance ma cut off ang loop or travel sa infra red light.

actually master scott dili ma cut-off ang loop but mo bounce/reflect back padulong sa receiver if naa obstacle sa transmitter/emitter (the one sending the iR signals) mao dayon ang pag trigger sa switch either On or Off ang contact at normal position .. dili lang ang CompE kabalo ana hasta ang mga Instrumentation Engg/Tech.

this application can be as a trigger for the counter in a line conveyor (ex. coca-cola)

bos scott bernard - haha uu jud kay kato akong nkit-an naghimo ani kay mga compE man guro to.. hehehe

so ang na cover pa nato ani boss kay ang sensor in which ma-o ang mo pick up sa signal either mareflect sa infrared or through sounds and pressure?

There are so many variable elements here it is difficult to advise you.

    1. Your going to need the sliding door

    2. Your going to need some kind of sensor to detect people approaching

    3. Your going to need some kind of drive to operate the door. Some kind of motor or actuator.

    4. Your going to need to know when the door is clear so you can close it again.

Update: please share your ideas simple rana nga design kong naa mo eka-share please do so..

Timing will not be much of a problem on this one as long as naa siya'y makita nga nag lihok,
additional sensor such as IR Sensor acting as switch should be placed as well,

Other optional sensor I know would be pareho sa tig-kuha og SPEED, Ultrasonic Sensor.
