Do a little research bout CITE ( center for Industrial technology enterprise) yup it is a school for scholar here in talamban cebu city.. Im a graduate from that school and some mods and other CIA's here in istorya. Ask them how do they implement their rules.. Daghan ang wala naka graduatedue to some offenses na maka-ingon mo very light and unrelated sa study.. But rules are rules, and we choose to study in that center..
So same goes to stc, stick to school policy, if you violate, you will face the consequences, though maka ingon ta lucky ra kaayo sila kay dili kaayo strict ang stc kay gipa graduate pa sila wala lang gipa attend sa ceremony..
diha pa d ay koy nahinumdoman amo ka batch 3 kabook nagpa upaw, wala ka paso oi

this is from cliff_drew link post:
Balili likewise said the photographs posted by the minor on her Facebook account were indecent.
“To cite some, the photograph marked Annex 2 is very appalling and revolting to the sense of any decent person. The dance photograph marked Annex 6 show something indecent wherein the right foot of the man is intentionally inserts in between the legs of the minor,” motion reads.
He added that in fact the mother of the graduating student signed the Probation: An Administrative Sanction for a Violation which is a basic requirement of due process.

Court to CebuPosted on March 30, 2012
The disciplinary action was kept an internal school matter until the parents filed a lawsuit this week, bringing the case out in public.
Trani said STC teachers in February called the attention of the five seniors and made them write a personal narrative about their “violations”.
“They were even very apologetic about what they did,” Trani said about the handwritten accounts.
The five girls had sessions with the school’s guidance counselor and had a whole-day retreat with their religion teacher.
Parents were called in, were told of the violations and appealed to the school to lessen the penalty. Some suggested letting the girls make up for their mistakes by cleaning up the school grounds.
The principal said this was not enough.
“Cleaning the school… they would enjoy that. We like to give them something where they will feel that they have done something wrong,” Sr. Pe said last night.
Including the students in the commencement rites would mean “exonerating” them. Sr. Pe said this would be unfair to other students who had good conduct during their formation years in STC.

March 27, 2012 = parent filed a case against STC in the sala of Judge Navarro (raffled) citing 'no due process was given to the girls' (mao ba ni ang reason sa case?)Posted on March 30, 2012
The students, in a March 1 order, were barred from joining school activities which include the senior’s bash, graduation practices and the commencement rites.
The uproar over so-called “lewd” photos of the students in their Facebook account started in February, when other students called the faculty’s attention.
“It was brought to the school’s attention by students who were disturbed (by the photos),” said Lilu Aliño, Institutional Planning Officer.
The penalty handed down on March 1 goes beyond the offense of appearing in a bikini, said Allan Trani, Human Resource Officer.
“The issue is not just the bikini. It’s wearing skimpy clothing, acting suggestively, provocatively and sexually. It’s not about teenagers wearing bikinis in the poolside. Dili baya na bastos ang pag wear og bikini. To wear a bikini is not a mortal sin,” Trani said.

Reports said that Cebu City Regional Trial Court Judge Wilfredo Navarro sided with the student after her mother filed a lawsuit last Tuesday and ordered the St. Theresa’s College to allow her to join the graduation which was scheduled yesterday.
Court to Cebu
Thursday, March 29, 2012
CEBU CITY (Updated) -- The court ordered St. Theresa’s College (STC) on Thursday to allow two of its graduating students to attend the high school commencement exercises today, Friday.
Judge Wilfredo Fiel Navarro of the Cebu Regional Trial Court (RTC) issued a temporary restraining order to stop STC from enforcing the sanction of barring the two students from attending the graduation rites.
The court said the school had failed to extend due process to the students when it imposed the sanction after seeing Facebook photos of the girls in what school authorities found to be inappropriate behavior in public.
“Moreover, it was very apparent that the imposition of the penalties on the minors is of dubious propriety or validity, to say the least, if not completely unlawful,” Navarro said in his order.
The families of the girls welcomed the court ruling.
Enrique Lacerna, counsel for the mother of one of the two 16-year-old girls, said they expect the school to abide by the court order.
The graduation ceremony is at 3 p.m. today, Friday.
....
In his order, Navarro enumerated the actions that STC has to comply:
1. That the two girls be made to join the march during the processional along with the rest of the graduates during the commencement exercise.
2. That their full names be called when the roll of graduates is announced during the commencement exercises.
3. That they march along with other graduates to receive their certificate or diploma on the stage or podium during the commencement exercises.
The judge also ordered STC to treat the concerned students “with kindness and civility befitting true graduates of a respectable institution” without any discrimination during the entire program.

March 30, 2012 = graduation day / TRO defied / the girls weren't allowed in the school so no graduation rites
IMO, cleaning the school wouldn't be a punishment. Have you seen the insides of the STC campus? Mga Theresians, hugaw ba inyo school? Daghan ba kalat? Do you think the girls cleaning an already-clean establishment a punishment? Unsa gusto ninyo, hugaw-hugawan sa STC personnel og students ang buildings para maka-limpyo sa mga girls?
Besides, does community service really work? Those who have been exposed to community service, did it work for you? Maybe if they cleaned public toilets or parks, could that be a good punishment?
Note: I will put more links when I find them.
sayop na daan sa parents nga wa sila ka control sa ilang anak...
gidunga-gan pa gyud nila og apil2x ang media.
it's a fact that they signed the sanctions. na timing lang nga ting graduation na. so naapil sa sanction.
it should have been the end of it. pero unsa man, nagtuo siguro ang parents nga uso bitaw ron ang mo accuse anya magpalaban dayon sa media. this is the result! now blame the school? maski dili catholic school, basaha daw ang handbook if wa bay right ang school mo hatag og sanctions... and to those who would say nga naa nay TRO.. well diba wala gani bond? so di pwede madawat... besides... talk about legalities, wasn't it not too long ago.. naay TRO nga wala gi-follow sa usa ka government agency mismo?! yeah right.. ask de lima! ang doj mismo... mao na nay backlash sa pag dili mo follow.
