It is about time people start suing establishments like these. School is primarily academics and that's it. They can only suggest or influence behavior and beliefs, not force it to people.
That's why I love my Alma Mater. Christian ways and modern teachings.Ateneo and more specifically Xavier all the way.
dapat adto ni sa inyo school ni nga mga students nag skwela bro
even if naa ni sila na violations, always remember na once outside na sa school, a person can do anything. An establishment can only uphold their own rules if you are in their property or grounds. The terms the school wants is simply unconstitutional and unacceptable in the court of law.
Always remember if it is legal under philippine law, it is perfectly legal. Simple.

i have nothing against about having fun..because i too, loves to have fun..and been to that stage too...but one should be responsible for their actions...in every institution it maybe school, company, govt offices, etc. there are always rules and regulations to follow...so its your call if you will follow those rules and regulations or violate them..as long as you are ready to face the consequences that comes after violating those rules...
Maceda also cited a Supreme Court ruling which said that the school could punish students even if the act is committed outside school premises and not connected to campus-related functions - as long as the misconduct "involves his status as a student or affects the good name of the school."
Bikini, Facebook and school policies: A complex legal maze
please back read boss. an istoryan posted a SC ruling cited by Maceda that private schools can impose sanctions on misconduct even outside school premises or non-school related activities. i can no longer find it, sorry
but anyway, the school still has the right to penalize students who violates the school's code of conduct. and i definitely agree with this since the student carries the name of the school whether she's in or out of the school compound.
@istoryamember i confirm that what you posted (got from fb) is correct.
