@Lord_Ac: basin mga badlungon sad ning mga bataa and this was the last straw for the school hehe..i'm just speculating ha...kay imposible man gud if ang school ingon ana lang kadali mo desisyon.

@ming_li: dli lang ta maghulat nga moabot ug scandal oi...before it reaches that point, kelangan we repress the actions that may lead to that...and these are young girls, probably 16-17 yrs old, so dapat jud disiplinahon kay mag wild unya nig mohamtong na sa edad

School execs face criminal raps over FB bikini row | ABS-CBN News

"However, clerk of court Atty. Ofelia delos Reyes said a motion for reconsideration on a TRO has no legal standing.

"The TRO is immediate and executory. They know it," she said.
    Goodluck STC.

Still, even if it was legal and justifiable to defy the TRO because of the absence of the cash bond, then that would mean that the school had two options:

    a) they can choose to just ignore the absence of the cash bond, and just let the students march to close the case.

    b) or they can choose to ignore the TRO completely.(Obviously they chose B.)

It's a pity though. The judge had made his point clear - treat the students with kindness and civility. You don't need a court order to do this. IMO, what the school did was just plain mean.

i found a comment on facebook that i'd really like to share to all...this goes:

Look at it this way, the apparent "sanction" of not being allowed to attend the graduation rites is not dehumanizing to the minor but it saves her from fickle embarrassment. The issue has blown out of proportion because of how her parents approached it. Must you still take pride in the graduation rites knowing that your child didn't pass the school's grade of conduct? STC is even kind enough to consider giving her a diploma.

And kung ang mga pari ug madre magkasala man FYI, they have their own consequences, you're just too lazy to research about it and you have a very irresponsible comment there. Kane, it's not double standard but that standard of STC is at par with yours and high enough not to tolerate indecency or disrespect to the human body. In fact, what the minor has done is dehumanizing to her own. Sleepless nights you say? That must be coming from the guilt and shame of what she's done amidst public scrutiny; but it should have never gone out of hand if they didn't raise it to RTC.

I believe STC is standing for what it's worth. It is a Catholic Institution for over 75 years educating young minds to uphold the moral teaching of Christ. They're trying to prevent students from falling into the business and pleasure of vices and immorality. That's what a school is supposed to be, A Catholic School for that matter. IF they won't stand for this, who will?

Think about it, even if it is beyond your control, would you still allow your child to dwell in a perverse and dehumanizing "family affair"? If her parents can't stop her from that, well, I'd give credit to STC for acting like one.

STC has no right not to let the students join the graduation rights.kakapoy ra og study ah.

their decision is way overboard.to think that the incident didnt happen sa school and there was no school connection.
please it was a private party.

for the kids sake, are you going to let them wear sarong and filipiniana when they want to swim?

i even believe that they should have respected the courts order since they should have shown an example.

    just my two cents
