OK! So as far as I'm concerned, the Battle of Mactan didn't happen at Camotes. Two solid pieces of evidence: Pigafetta's awareness of the three islands of Camotes, and the original account that says he sailed off at midnight and arrived in Mactan at the break of dawn.

i am not even sure if lapu-lapu did exist. but i do believe though there was once warrior who led the local tribe in fighting against magellan's troops.
