Reply: hello...SI Sensei Max Tian kay okay raman sya but since old naman si sensei he cannot teach us anymore pero mo sud gihapon sya sa aikidohan to watch us and Si Sensei Orcing kay I think Okay ra pud sya rare raman gud sya mo sud osahay every saturday ra osahay di sya maka sud kay naay siyay work ang Uban kay wa nako kaila ana nila nya uban sensei kay kaila ko pero sa naung ra.....kay dili man gud tig adto ang mga masters uban.

AND ABOUT THE RENEGADE THING dugay na man kaha to na years and Renagade is a 'BIG WORD' to say nag-usab naman kaha ka but anyway long time na to and I'm sure you can visit baseline and Max Tian would be happy to see you kay studyante gud ka niya..

and ABOUT NOBUO TAKASE SHIHAN....WOAH!!! I've heard about him and He was known as New Zealand representative of the world aikido headquarters but I've heard also na naay siyay asawa...and etc basta( IF my descriptions were right) i mean your'e very lucky to have him as your master. Good luck XD

mao ba dili na d i motodlo si sensei max...hope maka reconize pa cya nako puhon kung makauli ko next year...ohh the word renegade, si sensei max maoy nagsulti ani dili ako ...i don't believe that i have done wrong...ako respeto niya s still standing high...and proud to say na siya ako first teacher...sa una gud dili na siya mosogot mo cross train sa lain nga dojo e.g. from ki aikido to aikikai...unlike diri nga pwed ra bsag asa ko prakts ok ra...pro based gyud ko ni Takase sensei...medyo open ila mind about cross training...pero aikido is aikido dili sagol2xlan ug lain nga art mao ila gusto...yea i guess i'm lucky to be under Takase sensei...

Umm...I'm a 14 year old girl who's currently deciding to learn aikido in Baseline and based on what you have said that the sensei there is getting old and that some mostly have something to do causing students to teach their fellow students...Now I am a complete beginner, have never tried any martial arts. Is it more advisable to learn aikido in Sacred Heart instead in Baseline? I would also like to ask... the membership fee in baseline is P2500 ( P1500 for the membership fee + 950 for the gi + 50 for the manual ), and when we pay that P2500 will the uniform be ours or is that P950 just for rental and then you have to return it after every session ? Also can I ask for contact numbers for both Baseline and in Sacred Heart? Thank you ^^

wooahh really ing-ana na ang fee karon ...outdated na gyud d i kaayo ko dah...it doesnt matter f noob or girl sa aikido...and besides there s no such thing as pro or master...so anybody who is a self proclaim master is a total hoax...kanang technique nga gi-perform r all the same from when they started practicing...its just like cooking an egg...first u only learn how to cook it simple & progress in time....perhaps scramble egg na inig human pro at the end of the day...itlog lang gehapon na bisag unsaon pa

nindot na ang scared heart...si benson ang head teacher nya si graeme ang assistant...pero depende gyud na nimo kung unsa imo gusto...at the end of the day it boils down to u...a teacher could only assist your learning pro ikaw ang initiator sa learning...ako lang tingali ma share based sa akong experience is that focus lang sa foundation at the moment and the rest will follow…good luck!!!

Oh I see...thankz Ya Min...^^ ang kanang P2500 ba na good for 2 months kay equivalent to 12 sessions?...pwede ra ikaw mu pick sa imung sched na gusto or kung when ka gusto to practice? then kanang P2500 kailangan pa ba mubayad ug P120 (if im not mistaken) per session? how much is the uniform diay? thankz daan ^^

Reply: Haha I'm a female XD and ang uniform kay between 500-600 ra sa metro basically kung sa baseline ka kay i think pwede man tingali ka mo pick ug schedule pero ang bayad kay pareho gihapon I'M not that sure na noon... pero kung mo take na gani ka og test para yellow belt naay bayad pero i forgot na...and yes mas maayo mo adto jud ka para ma observed nimo ba kay ako pud ni adto man pud ko sa sacred heart as a guest and nakit-an nako ang ilang master he looks like hapon.. and nakit pud nako ang uban student. Nya mag start ang ilang summer class after the holy week,sa baseline pud kay mag start sila after holy week sad. XD

REPLY: Hantod karon paman gani, last summer katong naa ko sa baseline i tend to join arnis but they said na masuko daw si Sensei kay once mag join ko aikido nila dapat aikido ra jud...like you said walay lain sagol.

naa tingali uban diri nga wala kaayo kasabot sa principle sa aikido ug ngano gitawag ni ug aikido so pls allow me to explain..ang founder nag buhat ug martial art nga iya paminaw maoy solution sa kagubot nga iya na witness during WWII...kay during his time perteng daghanang mga hapon nangamatay sa gubat…halos hapit nahurot ang ilang mga lalake ….mao ang tanan technique sa aikido is in a non-violence form pero wa na nagpasabot nga dili ni effective ug efficient coz the difference of retaining life or destroying it is just a hairline...obviously u need to be in a much more higher level to be able to retain life…ug ang daily prkts would mean nga u have to enhance your skill to a point that you will only neutralize the attack e.g. knife but not the attacker….pushing further, u need to train your mind not to kill or harm others…u failed as an aikidoist if u do so dili ni sayon nga principle…it need tons & more than a lifetime of practice…ang founder hangtod siya namatay nagsige lang gehapon ug enhance sa iyang skill…i know ang uban pul-an ani ug ang uban feels that they have reach a point that they r no longer developing…or no one could point them to the right direction to grow…and would seek shorter solution mao nga ilang sagolan ug lain ang art…so in essence dili nana aikido! mix martial art nana…so putting “combat” in aikido is a contradiction…magkatawa ang makabasa sa kana nga termeno…it may look like aikido but in reality it is not…dili nako ma-explain diri pero f naa pa ko ron sa dojo tingali ma-demonstrate nako ug tarong…many people think nga ang traditional is not effective e.g. aikikai or ki or yoshinkan etc…that is a totally wrong notion…I’m not saying it’s perfect…like any other arts its has it pros and cons…believe me coz I’ve been with several arts until now pero my heart belongs to aikido …so I don’t believe that in an aikido dojo one should practice other forms of arts…kay insulto kaayo sa principle nga ge-create sa founder.

Pls don’t get me wrong…I’m not saying that other arts r bad or not good…as I said, at the end of the day it boils down sa individual kung unsa iya gusto…
