anyway, so ganahan jud ka nga ihatag naku tanan details? names sa company, founder, income, number of employees? sure ka? bitaw?
All I asked is capitalization figures, so we know how big these coops you're talking about are. I didn't ask for founders, number of employees etc so bringing that up is another example of you posting unrelated OT stuff. I want you to substantiate your claims instead of pulling stuff out of thin air or making outrageous exaggerated stories about your real-world experiences which we can't even verify.

Cos this is about Hacienda Luisita, a huge large-scale enterprise, we need an example of equal size. Don't mention small hardware shops, cos running a small store with 5-10 staff is different from running a farm with 1,000s of staff.

The second article is about workers buying their own factories or pooling resources together to create their own enterprise. That is different from what you want, which is owners being forcibly dispossessed of their farms, offices or factories against their will. If you don't see the difference, then you're just another brainwashed stooge..

i'm sure dili na jud na anecdotal? :P it will be my first time to use aning anecdotal nga term :P

    from wiki....

The MONDRAGON Corporation is a corporation and federation of worker cooperatives based in the Basque region of Spain. Founded in the town of Mondragón in 1956, its origin is linked to the activity of a modest technical college and a small workshop producing paraffin heaters. Currently it is the seventh largest Spanish company in terms of asset turnover and the leading business group in the Basque Country. At the end of 2010 it was providing employment for 83,859 people working in 256 companies in four areas of activity: Finance, Industry, Retail and Knowledge. The MONDRAGON Co-operatives operate in accordance with a business model based on People and the Sovereignty of Labour, which has made it possible to develop highly participative companies rooted in solidarity, with a strong social dimension but without neglecting business excellence. The Co-operatives are owned by their worker-members and power is based on the principle of one person, one vote.[2]

Katawa ko sa imong confidence bro.. if you think highlighting one coop proves your point, you've a long way to go. How many shareholder owned companies are there world wide? Probably more than 10,000. How many coops with reasonable size have you listed? Maybe a handful. How many in the Philippines? None. I'm sure there are lots of worker coops.. question is how big are they and also how profitable? And what about farming coops? Didn't they try that in Cambodia and Vietnam?

Impeachment of Corona.. nitukar nasad ang pagka-OT nimo da. Naay thread ana.. but let's play your game. 45 properties versus 5 properties is not a technicality man. Whats wrong with you hehe..

Start your own coop nalang bai.. make it as big as Mondragon.

hahaha.. like i said.. bisan unsa pa nga data ang ihatag sa usa ka tawo kung siya mismo sa sugod pa nag decide na nga dili na jud mo to.o.. d jud na xa mo to.o bisan unsa pa ka tinuod ang data

kung ni basa lang ka more about sa mondragon corporation masabtan nimo kung ngano natawag xa nga corporation and at the same time cooperative. but i guess you don't care about it because from the start you've decided not to believe it at all.

about kay corona. mura man gi ignon nimo kontra ko ni corona.. im not on any side on this matter... si corona pa gani nag decide nga sakto ang claim sa mga farmers regarding sa HL case.. ang wa lang naku ganahan sa iyaha kay gi allow niya nga maka gawas si gma sa pinas...

by the way, i find it amusing, support kaau ka kay corona nga ni support sa mga farmers sa HL pero ikaw d ka mo support sa mga farmers sa HL... :P

ug grabe pud ka maka defend sa mga cojuanco regarding sa HL case... naa kay share? :P

ug unsa may nabuhat sa mga mag.uuma sa imoha nga ing.ana man ka ubos imohang tan.aw nila?

I don't see any data at all from you man. Imagination nasad ni nimo? Where's the data on capitalization of these coops? How big are they? Asa naman ang uban nga tubag sa mga gipamutana nako.. What about example of successful large farming coops in the Philippines? Prove that CARP is successful and farming coops have a better chance of succeeding than company owned plantations. Homework ni nimo bro.. hehe

Where in my post did I say I don't believe Mondragon is a cooperative or did I even say it's not successful? I doubt if you're reading the post or your imagination is inserting stuff into my posts while reading.

Guards clash with farmers in H. Luisita

Guards clash with farmers in H. Luisita | Manila Standard Today

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — Some members of a farmers’ group and some security guards on Sunday used stones and slingshots against each other in a fight over a piece of property within the Hacienda Luisita in Tarlac being claimed by Rizal Commercial Banking Corp., police said Monday.

Tarlac City Police chief Arnel Ramos said stones rained past 3 p.m. in the area where RCBC’s security guards were posted to put up a fence around the property being claimed by the bank.

The farmers were said to be members of the Alyansa ng Manggagawang Bukid sa Asyenda Luisita, a farmers’ group that, along with other groups, is demanding that the family of President Benigno Aquino III distribute the sugar estate to its farmers as ordered by the Supreme Court.

“The farmers stoned RCBC employees but no one was hurt or injured,” Ramos said.

But Alyansa chairman Felix Nacpil Jr. said 20 of his people were hurt after the bank’s security guards fired their slingshots at them.

“We went to the place to stop the guards from putting up fence, but instead we were forcibly driven out by guards using clubs and sling shots,” Nacpil said in a telephone interview.

He said a representative from the Agrarian Reform Department was expected to visit the hacienda on March 27.

Ramos said the estate’s farmers had repeatedly warned the bank’s security guards against putting up a fence around the property that the bank had been claiming until the Agrarian Reform Department had ruled on the case.

The farmers claim that the property should be included in the estate areas to be distributed to them as ordered by the Supreme Court.
