Get a good teacher. you will learn faster because you will be able to eliminate some of the errors na kung in the long di ma corrected will hamper your growth..
Dali ra sad nimo maconfirm imo mga discoveries kung naa kay doubts or you like to know more about it..
Ang guidance gyud dako siyag kahimoan..para nako..
So kinsa maayo nga prof guitar teacher sa Cebu?
Dili kanang basic lessons.
Kanang sa intermediate nga level akong pasabot.
Particularly kanang makatudlo ug mga MODES.
Maglisod ko ug sabot ani. Ionian 2212221 Dorian 2122212 etc, etc.
Typical example ani kana bitawng maminaw ta nila Satch, Petrucci, Skolnick maghisgot ug mga Modal structures.
Dili gyud ni madala ug self-study lang siguro kay medyo low I.Q. man gud ko.
So kinsa maayo ani nga instructor?
...............

learning by yourself will enhance your widowing. and in due time, you will technically understand why such song dropped in the key signature of F# when the cycle protrudes Em - GM.
but if someone guides you, everything gets matted before you and all you gotta do is pic em up and do the smashing guitars....

i choose prof guitar lessons
agree ko ani..
Just about last year, I picked up the electric guitar (I'm self taught and have been playing acoustic for about 4 years) and I'm learning how to play lead. I never really liked the idea of paying for guitar lessons. I thought of them as a waste of money since I thought that the internet had it all. But then after a few months of trying to teach myself lead through videos, I got frustrated coz my progress was slowing down and I was stuck. So I decided to enroll myself in some guitar lessons since i was desperate. So far, I have no regrets. One of the best decisions I have ever made. I have learned a lot of things that I doubt I'd find in the internet and my progress is faster than ever.
A lot of great guitarists were self taught but a lot of them had teachers too. Take Steve Vai for example. Self-teaching will do but It also wouldn't hurt to get a teacherjust my 2 cents.
self taught ko since highschool. i gradually learn the basics to intermediate that way. i learned chords and finger spacing from magazine charts. strum timing and placking until i got the rhythmic tempo. basically all i did was widow2x lang. minaw, sipra2x until i got familiarized with the tunes that i can easily transpose it to strings. i learned to read tabs, look at vid tutorials and gather suggestions or tips from my more experienced guitarist friends. learned scaling, harmonics. that was it for me. i never did master the art though (na sidetrip kay usahay tapulan or learned a new instrument like the drums and keyboards). but sa ako lang, if you have the heart and the passion to indulge yourself with what you love doing, you can be a master in your own right. im not saying na dili najud ka kinanalan ug instructor if you really want to learn in a more systematic way but kung naa jud kay kugi na makaton, you can.
how can you master it? like i said, the essentials are you gotta have the heart for it, the passion for it and of course the love of your craft. thats whats gonna make you the best in what you do.
