Let's put his two opposing statements side by side.

'The Philippines is a beautiful place at the end of the day. It’s filled with over 7000 islands, friendly people… the food isn’t so good, it’s a bit noisy, and it’s really dirty. So if you’re planning to stay for an extended period of time, be prepared to be pissed off… [drinks Pale Pilsen] it’s warm, f*ck!'
He said he did not intend to hurt Filipinos “in this wonderful and beautiful nation that’s been so great to me since I moved here 3 and a half years ago.”
The words 'wonderful/beautiful' don't actually play well with words/phrases such as 'noisy', 'really dirty', 'if you stay longer prepare to be pissed off' and 'f*ck'. You won't say 'beautiful' when you are pissed off unless you are being sarcastic.

Sorry Jimmy, but it's an epic fail. Karon nga inyo ng na-achieve ang goal sa inyong tinonto (nisikat na ka ug ang channelfix), nangayo na kunohay kag pasaylo sa imong gibuhat. Damage has been done and the only logical step to follow is to make the involved people accountable. Paabuton ta na lang ang action sa gobyerno bahin nimo ug sa imong mga ka-tropa.

For the meantime, padayon ta sa pag-amping sa atong palibut. Kadtong karon pa nahigmata, hinaut nga dili ra mo taman sa pagsulti nga tinuod ang naa sa video. Hinaut nga inyong buhaton ang inyong mga responsibilidad sa community nga inyong gipuy-an. We don't need a foreigner's video to change. Ikaw mismo nga nagpuyo anang lugara nakakakita na ana.

^^ As a citizen, your basic rights are inherent. Pagkatawo nimo, naa na ka ana.

If you are an expat, kanang rights nga imong na-enjoy anang nasura dili na gikan sa imong pagkatawo kundili gikan sa permiso sa gobyerno. So if you pisses the government off, they can easily revoke those rights.

Mao bitaw nga bisan asa kang nasora mapunta/motrabaho/magnegosyo, kinahanglan gyud kang morespeto sa gobyerno ug sa culture/tradition anang nasura. Kulang lang gyud sa 'training' ning kanoa.

    American apologizes for 'hate video

Jimmy Sieczka apologizes for 'hate video' | Sun.Star

CEBU CITY -- Jimmy Sieczka, an American who has been living in Cebu City for the last three years, issued an apology for the video on the things he disliked about the Philippines.

Sieczka, in a video statement, said the video was never made to attack and put down Filipinos “in this wonderful and beautiful nation that’s been so great to me since I moved here three and a half years ago."

“I’m deeply sorry that I’ve offended some of the people in the Philippines and the show was just made to point out obvious things that any other person probably would acknowledge and say to themselves and say to their friends, but obviously not take the steps that I took and put it in a video,” Sieczka said.

he controversial video, uploaded by Sieczka, an employee of ChannelFix (not International Academy of Film and Television in Cebu City as earlier reported), showed "20 Reasons for Disliking the Philippines."

Cebu City Councilor Sisinio Andales earlier said Sieczka has embarrassed the whole country, particularly Cebu City, in his 25-minute video entitled “20 Reasons I Dislike the Philippines” that has been circulating in social networking sites.

“It saddens me that so many people took it to heart, took it too seriously," said Sieczka.

Sieczka also clarified he doesn’t hate the Philippines.

“Hate is a strong word… It’s such a strong word for anyone, to think that I would stay here for as long as I have, and hate the place. It’s just not true,” he said.

Sieczka’s video statement was also posted in Youtube under the Channelfix channel.

In the video that featured areas in Cebu City, Sieczka said that among the things he dislikes in the country are the beggars, the heavy traffic, the garbage on the streets, the “uncomfortable” comfort rooms, the Filipino’s obsession with whitening products, unsafe construction sites, taxi drivers who keep on beeping, security guards who are untrained, sidewalks that reek of urine and the improper frisking in malls.

The video has drawn mixed reactions.

Siezcka also posted his reaction to the negative comments online.

“For those of you that think that this video was made to show my hate for the Philippines, I must say that you are sadly mistaken,” he said.

“I’m just stating the obvious in an unconventional way in order to spark change. Never once did I use the word hate in the piece. I simply pointed out issues that have been overlooked for quite some time,” he added

now he has apologized . will filipinos and cebuanos accept his apology?

being the norm doesn't mean it is something that its not. it doesn't change the fact that your still a racist pig.

    rac·ism
    noun
    1. a belief or doctrine that inherent differences among the various human races determine cultural or individual achievement, usually involving the idea that one's own race is superior and has the right to rule others.
    2. a policy, system of government, etc., based upon or fostering such a doctrine; discrimination.
    3. hatred or intolerance of another race or other races.

Huh?? It is not just about the norm. Even here in istorya, that's how things are. Try pissing off the admins/moderators here and you will see what I mean.

That's how it works. You cannot just go, stay in a country and do whatever pleases you without considering the government, tradition and the culture of the locals.

Di ba nindot man kaha ang education nga gihatag sa imong ginikanan sa imoha? Then you should know these things.
