by the way, i was an avid fan & user of AMD processors before ha... nag sugod during the "Palomino" era... until the "Thoroughbred" era... I owned AMD's Athlon MP (palomino) and Athlon XP (thoroughbred) processors. during this time, I ditched out intel's pentium 3 and 4s... i also owned those processors man maong akoang na compare ang price to performance ratio... then after that, undang ko ug gasto sa PC...

if the new AMD FX will spank intel's IB performance, then basin naa'y "wind of change" sa akoa napud...

mas ok ang duron compared sa old celerons... same era na processors for comparison ha... pero, mura'g na ok na ang celeron during the "Conroe" era (not sure ko ani kun na ok ba gyud ang intel celeron ani na time)... naa ko'y isa sa balay...Celeron 420 on Win7... pang general office apps, online games, FB, surfing then "angry birds" sa akoang pag umangkon na 2 yrs old... hehehe...

well i got the fx6100 paired with 6850pcs+, it works fine with me.. no regrets, not an OC expert thought but performance is good.

I have a phenom ii x6 1100t paired with 990fx mobo, so far no regrets encountered. I don't overclock coz i don't know and for what reason.

nice... so far, so good ang mga owners sa FX & Phenom 2 sa mga rigs nila... mas bang for the money ang mga Phenom IIs kay mas cheaper sila compared the FX then mas kusog pud... not all model though... but for the price sa duha, winner ang Phenom IIs...

Same here, running on FX4100 paired with my 6870, so far so good....hoping na makabawi ang AMD on their 2nd gen FX processors. If AMD can be more competitive on their products we, the consumers can enjoy cheaper prices from both parties.
