i don't think F16's will be used mainly for insurgency operations.

then its almost a useless investment.

F-16 are multi-mission capable, there's even a battlefield interdiction version called A-16 and F-16MJ for European theater.

Mig29 are cheaper than F-16 with almost same capability except fly by wire

double the Powerplant and double the Cost of operation and that's double the trouble


Most Capable Mig-29s are IAI upgraded with Western Powerplants ( using same as F-18 ) and Avionics

whatever uses it may be only AFP knows. you don't know and i don't know. we can only speculate.im sure they have their own reservations for its uses. and im pretty sure they aren't buying it if its useless. they're not that stupid.
