sa davao man gud as what I observe the MAYOR and Vice Mayor is very hands-on in regards sa SECURITY.. every 10pm kana sila mag amahan mugawas sa ila balay para liboton ang tibook davao in secret.. para makita nila kinsa ang nagabuhat ug krimen kada kalye.. and the mayor and vice mayor are also strictly urging the police forces and military to be competent as much as possible in their work and stay away from corruption or else they will be assigned to central mindanao particularly in tawi-tawi and basilan if their performances is lower than their expectations.

dili na pud maihap ang mga police diri na nadestino ug central mindanao kay tungod low ila performance that's why kada police sa police station sa davao naga ronda jud sa ila area of responsibility arun manakop ug mga suspected criminals.. and also ang mga mag amahan nga duterte daghang koneksyon because of their reputations of being a hardcore but compassionate leaders in davao.

Death squad is more on a shorter solution. Authorities will then became lazy and dependent to these people.

Look at other places with strict laws on how they achieve peace and order.

Maybe it's time to focus why there are such criminals. How the government can help lessen them. Favoring death squad will also open to abuse. Criminals are still innocent until proven guilty.

I agree with you that criminals are still innocent until proven guilty.. but regarding sa ato present situation run particularly in cebu where most people believe only in LAWS kung masulayan sila natural kanang mga VIGILANTE style suportahon jud na sa mga MASA.. its not good but becoming practical these days sa mga lugar sa pinas kung diin kusog kaayo ang mga krimen.

and the reason why there are many criminals here in our country its because most of us pinoy's are having a hard time facing the reality.. kasabot ka?... ask me. hehe

ako i like. sa davao kay sure man sila na mao to ang kriminal kay naa man CCTV sa streets e di tsugi dayon.

Maski gani sa traffic, disiplinado didto kay way uso daw dakop didto sakyanan. Ipadala ra daw billing nimo sa traffic violations. Pina america.

How come di ka afford ang cebu og CCTV sa streets? I wonder nga morag mas dato paman ang cebu!

Of course kasabot ko. We have our own stand man. But I find it contradicting since you've said nga citizens and the government need cooperation. For whom diay? Sa mga vigilante? If so, I misunderstood your post and unlike it.

most people believe only in LAWS kung masulayan sila -- yes, this is true. But how about when your relative is a victim of these vigilantes, will you also show support to them? It's easy for us to say nga dapat pamatyon ng mga kriminal para maminosan na ang mga badlungon pero kung atong pamilya na ang sangkot, hilom pa tas minteryo.

yup! naa pd kay point sir.. but for me, mow patay rmn pd ang mga vigilantes qng grabe jd kaau ang crimen nga na himo sa tawo.. if mka himo mn gni ug krimen aqng relatives.. well dpat dwaton jd ang consequence..thats why agree jd kaau ko sa saying ni Vice Mayor Rodrigo Duterte sa Davao City... "Those who lived violently will always die violently also" ug ang usa pa nya ka saying "You live a violent life, you die a violent death"
