ok lemme tell you why port 80 / 8080 is the only port that you can use for smart.

first its because your using the "smart1" as your access point (not the profile name ok but the "access point name"); smart1 access point have only port 80/8080 open and not to mention you need to use the stupid 10.102.61.46 proxy as a server..

instead of using the smart1 as an access point; change it to "internet" dont include the " " just internet; no proxies and sh*ts and all ports are open (only for smart)

By the way im using ngage sad to say its only gprs but its ok as long as i can use YM and MSN messenger ok na kaau hehhee

im using SHAPE IM+ for my yahoo and msn messenger;
ProfiMail for Client Email; Flashget 0.7 to download apps larger than 1MB
and of course my wIRC pra chat sa undernet.org channel cebu hehehehe

Is this the same thing for GPRS connection as well? Pwede ba ang Samsung D600 ani? kung dili murag makapalit jud diay ko ani og lain phone.

yup its the same thing with gprs.... its just gprs is slower than 3g.. but all the settings are somehow the same ra

experiment ko balik sa ako smart na sim. mahal man gud charging sa globe. hopefully makaconnect na ko. lisuda pud aning wa kaayo ta kapareha og phone. way makaadvise. hahay, mailisan man kaha ning akong D600 og laing phone.

Smart internet or smart gprs same ra na sila. Just make sure na using UMTS or Dual mode para your connection is 3G.

hey guys! got a new problem here...
the steps above was made by using my nokia 6630...
now i wanted to use my K600i to connect to the internet via 3g...
i have installed activated all the settings in my phone para mo work na...
i have installed the pc software from SE out of the box...
ran the SE mobile connection wizard...
created a new connection...
hit on connect...
bang! ERROR!
"ppp link terminated" ( !!!? hehehe! )
tried it again and again...
same error...
have you guys encountered this?
any help pls?

replaced it with k600i kay mas gamay...
