That's ok. It's called UNGANGED DUAL CHANNEL..
16GB then multi-boxing sa World of Warcraft mga 6 ka Elemental Shaman hahaha
Amount of ram needed will depend on the user's usage and the programs that need to run simultaneously.
I think for now 8GB is fine. 16GB might be too much depending on the software
today, unless you are running multiple virtual machines and databases simultaneously, 8GB is more than enough esp for gaming. but wait a few more years and for sure kuwang rana lol
when i was in college 10 yrs ago i remember thinking what the heck will i do with 256mb ram when its just too much at that timelol
RAM is RAM, its ALWAYS gud to have more, especially if you multitask
( this is my experience DAILY comparing my lowly opis PC ( 2 x 1GB dual Channel DDR2 667 and my personal pc sa haus 4 x 1GB Branded on Dual Channel )
but there are also other deciding factor if want performance of your Sticks
say : Memory Channels that equals to an aggregate bandwidth
on an LGA 1156 | 1155 Dual Channel : so if DDR3 1066, PC3-10600 with peak transfer rate of 10666⅔ MBps x 2 =
on an LGA 1366 its triple : so if DDR3 1333, PC3-1333 with peak transfer rate of 10666⅔ MBps x 3 =
on an LGA 2011 Quad Channel : so if DDR3 1333, PC3-10600 with peak transfer rate of 10666⅔ MBps x 4 =
AnandTech - Intel Core i7 3960X (Sandy Bridge E) Review: Keeping the High End Alive
basically.its NO CONTEST using a 16GB ( 4 x 4GB ) RAM on a DUAL CHANNEL vs. 3 x 1GB on LGA1366 or 8GB ( 2GB x 4 ) on LGA2011, dual channel bows down.
RAM speed is not how many can u open at a time, it's how fast can u open it
and for overall performance its not just RAM..its the setup
