LIVING WITH MY BROTHER... pain in the neck

ohhhh... imliving with my brother and his family. i am the on who provide almost everything because my sister in law has the one who works. my problem is that i am having problems dealing with his kids. they dont respect me and very abusive. i feel down at times because they dont even appreciate my efforts. the worst thing is that when it comes with the food they buy, my God lain kaayo iya as if im not giving my share. i cant afford to leave because i know they cant stand pa, im from the states and i have enough money to help them. should i leave them and find a place on my own?

by the way i pay all the bills, the rent for their apartment and all other stuffs... to mention tuition fees for the kids... wheeewwww....

are you in the states or here in the phils? its really a pain in the neck with your current situation... anyway, just try to talk it over with your brother in private and tell him everything with how you feel. it would be more complicated if he gets some negative informations from other people about your present situation than you, telling it to him personally.... the sooner, the better...

oh!!! i have that problem too. my parents and i with my baby moved here in cebu and decided to stay with my brother. it's really hard to deal with his kid, to be specific with his son. my brother is a disciplinarian but when it goes with his son, ay sus grabe maka konsente. im thinkinh about living separately but like your situation mariam, murag di pa kaya sa ako brother. he just started work last december. im hesistant to talk with my brother cause he is very sensitive man sad..

they should learn to stand on their own. before my sibs used to live in the same house in alberta. they share everthing. although okay raman ng mutabang ang maguwang or ang mas well off sa duha. pero not too the point na over ra ka sa ka dependent nh. abuse na! in the end pag ikaw ang muhawa ana nga house. mas basolon or they take it against you pa. tsk tsk tsk.

exactly!!! just like what happened last night, my nephew is really pusinh me to leave even if i own the place.. which is kinda stupid. and what is worst is that everytime i try to talk with my brother regarding the situation, unsa pa.... the exact line jud ha na always nya tell nko "MAO JUD KA KAY KAW MAOY NAAY KWARTA, MAGDINAW NKA NAKO!!!"

he is 10 years old. bata pa jud. the way he is treating me is kinda alarming. where at his age kabaw na sya what happened with his family. he knows if unsa ila situation. he is really putting me to the limits na. malooy lng ko sa ako brother. even up to this day, I AM REALLY REALLY HAVING HEADACHES WITH THAT KID...

ako tan-aw ani, 2 jud ang dapat i deal, ang parents ug ang anak. at 10 years old, makita na ang attitude sa bata and if the parents don't deal with it, possible nga modako siya nga ingon ana ang kina-iya. in my experience, honesty is the best policy. and sometimes also, the best way to help another person is to allow them to stand on their own and face the consequences for their decision. lisod lang ni nga situation for us filipinos kay strong kaayo ang atong family ties.

To avoid further misunderstandings of the siblings & to prevent your parents having a heart attack - mas maayo mag la-hi dyud. As much as possible dont let the in-laws get involve.
