    - A portrait of one of the elders of the Matigsalug tribe - 1 of the 7 ethnic tribes of Bukidnon. "Matigsalug" is a term, which means "people along the Salug River (now called the Davao River)". The Matigsalug inhabits the Tigwa-Salug Valley in San Fernando, province of Bukidnon.

    - they only use wooden tools such as mallet and wooden stake to chop pieces of wood from a whole lumber

    Higaonon tribe’s Piglumunan hu mga Bagani (Legion of Guardians).
    The group is known as defenders of the land who are ready to spare their lives for the protection of the Nabunayan (environment), Kabukalagan (Race), Kalandang (Peace), and their Tag-banhawan (territory).

    - or bamboo sitar, a music instrument that has eight strings which produce sounds used in dancing during festivities

    the Kutyapi

    - or kudyapi is a two-stringed, fretted boat-lute that resembles that of a long-necked guitar.
    - the instrument, which is used in accompnaying songs and dances, is carved out of solid soft wood such as from the jackfruit tree.

    the Bangkakawan

    - a log dance where six persons dance around a log in synchroni...zed movements until a brisk tempo is achieved. Two men tap the log rhythmically, going near and away from it while four women play and dance in rhythmic patterns using “lamps” or “kahol”
