There should have NEVER been a Woodstock 99, and there should never be again.
Woodstock 94 was justified, as it was the 25th Year Anniversary of the original Woodstock Festival held in 1969.
Woodstock 99 was organized mainly for the sake of profit. As if the tickets were not expensive enough ($150), the food, water, and merchandise were also very expensive. It was held in what used to be a waste site, and was marred by looting, violence and rape. Some bands like Limp Bizkit encouraged the already unruly audience, which eventually turned into a riot.
I don't remember the exact year of Woodstock Cebu, but I was there. It was too long, and most of the performers weren't good enough to entertain the crowd. We left when the stench of urine became unbearable, and that wasn't even the last day.
Btw, that was the first time I heard and saw the Tropical Depression, and I've been a fan since then.
