usually 1 year ra jud ng warranty sa store unya all the rest sa distro or sa manufacturer na...

well actually, maski kanang warranty sa store adto gihapon na nila i forward sa distro... which is in most cases, dugay gihapon na mabalik... except lang kung within 7 days (usually stores give 7 days outright replacement)...

just to share my warranty experience with seasonic psu, 1 year old kapin pa lang siya (this unit has 5 years warranty) pero akong problema technically dili covered sa warranty kay physical damage (nagka bungi2x ang main power cable connector sa mobo side kay akong gi pugos og duot) but i emailed seasonic (via their website) inquiring where i can buy that kind of cable (kay modular man).... to my biggest surprise, they responded and ask for my address details and they sent me the whole set of modular cables absolutely free...

mao na ako, seasonic for life!

You don't get my point. All 80+ certified PSU are having 80% more efficiency, but asa man jud ang pinaka peak niya? Mao ni ako pasabot. Sa imo example bro, pinaka efficient cya sa 50% load kay this is where the maximum power transfer occurs. Beyond or below sa 50%, dili na ma achieve ang maximum power transfer.

If mangutana ka ug EE/ECE graduate bro, kahibaw na cla asa dapit mahitabo ang maximum power transfer. Sorry kaau nga specific ko sa ako 50%.

Before, I thought buying an 850W 80+ Gold certified PSU is better compared to Bronze certified since basta Gold 90% plus ang PF niya but I was wrong because it will depend on the load.

So, kung gusto tipid kaau sa koryente, compute first the average power comsumption of all components then buy a PSU which has more or less a rating of twice of that computed power.
