Recommended Reading - /lit/ Wiki

most of the recommended books are classics gyud noh? and most of them are hard to come by in printed form these days...

I went to National Bookstore after the meet and they were having a sale of 20% on selected books. Nakapalit na pod ko ug bag-o, my 2nd non-fiction! Although this is a very light read - Bossypants by Tina Fey (the comedian). Nothing serious, murag puro lang katawa2x Let me know if anyone wants to borrow this.

Try looking for 1001 Books You Must Read Before You Die (ed. Peter Boxall). It's original price was 1,200 plus, I think. Pero gi sale siya 50% off. Nindut siya nga reference...

I bought my copy of 1001 Books... at Natio SM. I saw one copy the last time I was there (several weeks ago). I'll check if it's still there next time I drop by SM.

We haven't agreed yet on when the next one would be. I guess it'll be when we're done reading the books we swapped, hehe. But I guess it just depends on the availability of everyone or if the need arises. Calling Sol_Itaire, what do you think?

@ sevmik: yep, il try the movie after reading. Half-way nako pud. It reminded me how much enjoyable reading fantasy genre was. Although i have some few questions about some scenes but il save them for later.

Next Meet-up? yup, depends pud sa availability sa sched nato. Lets just keep the ball rolling...
