which is better, Condo or House and Lot?

based on your situation (couple, getting married soon, have a bigger family in the future, most likely planning to settle in Cebu), house and lot would be the better option. but here's the comparison:

why house is better than condo
1) it's cheaper than a condo per square meter of floor area
2) house and lot value will go up
3) most house and lot already come with a parking area for no extra fee

why condo can be better than house
1) you don't have to worry about the amenities - you just have to report to building admin
2) in my opinion, it's easier to convert to a business - rent it out - in case you decide to move somewhere else
3) most condos are closer to workplace
