if that's the case nabuhat man lage sa mga GRACIE ug MACHADO family na e commercialize ila brazilian jiu-jitsu and be able to spread it to their own country na wala man pud na sila gitabangan sa brazilian government to fund their centers?

and by the way SILAT in mindanao is very limited nowadays, a former hagibis band member and also a tausug tribe (forgot the name) is also an elite member of SILAT..

ang ako lang man gud katingalahan diri sa pinas is that why the majority of the pinoy's don't appreciate our own martial art and propagate it to our entire country..

Eskrima / Arnis is very much known sa world. Tungod kay atoa ni, and we don't usually see mga patrons here, pero atong art is recognized by the World Martial Arts industry. Daghan practitioners sa Cebu kaayo... but we do it secretly because balintawak arnis is not for show, para ni survival.

Sa among training, we use the stick para lang extension sa kamot. but in reality with or without it the applications are the same.

In Cebu wala kaayo Club sa Balintawak Arnis, pero ang tinod-anay kay grupo-grupo man gud ang style walay clubs... Only those who ask and seek for it will learn...

wala man ko problema sa FMA worldwide.. ang problema nako ngano limited ra kaayo ato FMA diri sa PInas mismo.. ngano lisod para sa mga FMA masters na e kalat ila arts sa tibook pilipinas?

Taas kaayo ug pagtan-aw mga foreigners sa pinoy, pero gi latos ra tah during thats time. And every since those times. wala na kaayo gi Held mga tournmanets diri sa pilipinas kay para ma keep atong reputation sa world. Tournaments are usually done by Doce Pares Club.

kindly share us the story daw sir... AFAIK our MA has stopped making tournaments especially from ARNIS related MA because of too much politics in the club.

Kita mga pinoy problema tah sa kwarta... poverty ang issue... mga masters nato mismo na sulod sa poverty issues pud. They earn a little by teaching the art. pero kinsa man nato ang gusto mu gasto para lang mu learn? ma ihap rah... kay we are more concern building our own life.

Ako I want to learn the art, kay para inig retire nako naa koy lingaw-lingaw ma spread during retirement period ug dili lang kay relax or inom ang gi atobang, kundi kay proud ko as a pinoy, and I have something to share as pure pinoy.

Tournaments ug demos are for publicity para sa atong MA. Wala na kaayo ang mga tournaments pero ang demos nag cge pah. The Doce Pares Club are very good at publicity. pero if ma pildi lang tah sa mga foreigners ma daot lang pud atong Martial Arts.
Filipinos are very good and the best at Arnis, the masters want to keep our reputation that way. para kahadlokan jud ang mga pinoy... matod pa sa mga comments sa mga foreigner's "Because filipinos are so busy fixing financial issues, they don't have time to train hard like they used to. because of this they loose."

Sakit paminawon... pero kabalo sila kahadlokan lang gihapon ang mga pinoy.
