Electric Bill and Water Bill Exaggerated!!! Fraud or just over consumption?

maypa ka miss, akoa kay 9K jud akong koryente sa atelier condominium pa ko..kana tapad sa winland.. to think 10 hours per day ko wala sa balay kay nag work, then molaag pa sad ko usahay.,

akong gamit ra kay aircon, ref and electric stove.. naa ko laptop pero usahay ra naku gamiton sa condo... mahug rag mouli ra ko para morest....

usahay ra gani ko mag luto...

first bill naku kay 4K, and para naku ok ra kay kay condo man, but nagkadako, niabot ug 6K and hangtud 9K ,,

nihawa ko sa condo ue.. binuang ilang koryente..murag akoy nag bayad sa entire floor..

this with regards to your water bill,
MCWD main office is located @ lapu-lapu cor magallanes sts. cebu city ( near sto. nino,city hall, or at the back of la nueva ).
if u want to verify the consumption sa emong condo just present the bill or simply the consumers code. if wla ka bill or CC then try to ask lang pila jud emong consumption sa inyung room.maybe nka mother meter mo.or if sub-meter ask lang pila emong consumption per month base on sub-meter ninyo.( take note: sub-meter are not registered to MCWD since they are installed by the owner of the building)

basically, ang minimum rate sa MCWD below 11 cu.m/month is around 136-150php. then progressive nana cea respectively to:
15.00 php per cu.m on 11-20 cu.m/ month
17.65 php per cu.m on 21-30 cu.m/month
48.40 php per cu.m on ocer 30 cu.m/month
ex. If you consume 32 cu.m for this month then ur bill will be computed as:
(1-10cu.m) 10 x 13.6 = 136
(11-20cu.m) 10 x 15.00 = 150
(21-30cu.m) 10 x 17.65 = 176.5
(31-32cu.m) 2 x 48.40 = 96.8
total= 459.30 php + minimal PCA ( Power Cost Adjustment ) and PWA ( Purchased Water Adjustment )dako nana 30php
so around 489.30 php ra..
pero take note an average household considered with 4 persons per household dako ra kaau nang 10 cu.m/month nga consumption..

but basically if based on mother meter ang basehan so dako jud and charges per cu.m, that is around 48.40 php per cu.m, but depende jud na establishment pila ilang charge sa tenants per cu.m.

Ask for the receipt sa inyuhang bill TS... Asa man sila nag base sa ilahang computation? naa mo metro na para lang gyud sa inyuhang kwarto?

mykus is correct nga increasing ang rates as you consume more water. wala ko kbaw sa latest figures but i think it is around the figures mentioned by mykus. akong mahinumduman kay around 4 times ang highest rate. meaning to say it is not proportional.

5 persons : P1500 <--- this is the wrong assumption because the rate is not fixed so it is not proportional

it really depends on how much water you use since it varies from person to person. if naa moy bathtub, modako jud na ang water bill. washing machine is also water consuming but it really depends on how much water you use. it is best to know how much you consume in terms of cu.m so you can compute if the amount charged to you is reasonable or not.

by the way, better ask your condo admin how much is their rate per cu.m. basin ang rate nila taas kaayo.
