go i3 or not and stick with ur x3 is a good idea..just stay away from expensive and low performing faildozers for now

and hope that win8 will unlock its shellcasing into a BULL.. hope it's not a BS.

kung ako ni pc, i would stick to my current setup 3-cores @ 3.7ghz, i dont see a reason to focus more on cpu performance basing on the way your are trying to use your pc. unless lang tingali if u got the money to burn, then i guess u can shift to i3 and probably realize u burned cash for just a few fps or few seconds off from something like encoding hd videos and such?
