I'm a creative writer.. though, I'm more comfortable in writing short stories.. Anything more than three pages, long-sized, font 12 Times New Roman, and double spaced is out of my league.. :")
hi, thisbe...congrats to you. you know where we can develop and share our love for creative writing? (mama said kusog man lang gyud ko mag himo himo ug sturya isuwat na lang sa papel ug pangwartahe na lang kaysa adto ko niya mohimo ug sturya every time mangayo ko ug kwarta)![]()
Are there any other special requirements to access the Article Mill section? Di pa gihapon ko ka-access...
edit: my bad, I guess I skipped the "Accept forum rules" part, haha.
Quick question, pwede i-PM lang ang personal information instead of posting it with the article?

@sevmik: yes, go ahead. just send your article first and then PM me your personal info. thanks!
we used to have meeting with fellow iSTORYAn writers. we discussed ideas and topics to write about then critique. let's check if we can have that again.
here's an advice kay i'm like you before: just write and write. write everything down. if you have a topic in mind when you're walking down the street, save it on your reminders then go back to it when you're comfortable to write about it.
write, then re-write and re-write until you have a great article. you can also have someone check out your articles. someone you're comfortable to share it with. it took some time for me to trust someone with my works. luckily, i found my mentor in fellow iSTORYAn diem.![]()
that would be great.lahi ra jud ang naay "support group", where people with similar interests get to help each other out, instead of just doing it on your own. i used to be part of this online writing community years back. ganahan kaayo ko ato.. for every story/poem that a member would post, that person is required to review/critique at least 2 posts from other members. that way, everyone gets a chance to critique and be critiqued. i learned a lot from those exercises. received my fair share of criticism, some harsh, but i loved it. sometimes we fall trap to our own arrogance, thinking we have written something really good, only to find out that in reality, we don't really know anything at all. that's where the learning comes in. sadly though, i stopped writing after i left that group, and have not written for more than 3 years already.
i'd have to start again from scratch.
i hope though madayon ning mga meetings mentioned by ms thisbe. or bisan online lang. aron pud ma-inspired ang ubang mga struggling writers dire like me.![]()
