I'm a registered American voter, but won't be voting for him. Frankly, disregarding voter privacy, I'll be re-electing Obama.

I don't find anything wrong with him. In fact, I believe he is one of the best presidential hopefuls to come out of the GOP in a long while. Anyway, Na-uso raman sad si Ron Paul tungod sa internet, dako kaayo siyag support group dri sa internet--but he hardly had any chance before he became sort of an internet meme in the. Anyway, he's playing the dark horse this time for the GOP nomination, as Romney and Gingrich are the main contenders.

the bipartisan system is a scam. the trifecta of big agra/big pharma/military-industrial complex is running the whole show. people should stop watching the BS that mainstream media feeds you. we have the internet, it has given us considerable power to research & be heard. USE IT!

romney & newt are establisment guys. they will do as they're told.

his grass roots support is astonishing & he has more donations from military guys than any presidential candidates. they all share his principles & values of economic reform & non-interventionism.

ron may not win because of the media's portrayal of him as a kook but he is endorsing ideals, not himself. he will pave the way for his son, rand paul.

    WAR RON PAUL!

I don't have to disprove that I am a racist, because I acknowledge that I am. Everyone is a racist, anyone who claims that race and attached stereotypes don't affect how you perceive a person is lying.

Also Ron Paul, may or may not be what this country needs, I personally like his stance on some things--but the internet and the non-mainstream support he's getting is over-selling him. By selling him as a person who can challenge the status-quo of American politics. He is the champion of civil liberties, and I agree with him on several issues. But I also disagree with him on the bigger issues.

As mentioned above, mag-intervene ra ba ang US sa atong mga policies dinhi sa Pilipinas one way or the other. So I think it's a good idea na i-monitor nato ang developments didto.

Kasabot ko na kitang mga Pilipino dili ta maka-vote niya or any other candidate sa US for that matter. (Though I hope na mobotar ang Fil-Ams dinhi sa Istorya para niya.) Pero para nako, daghan siya mga ideas na nindot kaayo ug worthy for consideration para sa Philippine context.

On a related matter, you may want to check this video below. This is one way in which Ron Paul's campaign can affect the Filipino people:

mga american citizens man diay mo... kung mudaog ba ang mga presidente na inyo giboto dira sa america do u think ang pilipinas maka assure na dili jud manghilabot ang US sa sovereignity sa ato nasud? daghan na man pud mga US presidents na nagsulti na ila daw e respeto ang independence sa isa ka nasud pero pag naay conflict sa isa ka nasud makialam man gihapon sila.. usahay sila pa ang murag mag control sa pulitika..

these aspiring US presidents are only saying flowery words for their audiences.. mura lang nag PILIPINAS politics.. maayo lang sa istorya unya pag makadaog na dili na diay nila mabuhat ila gipang promise.. bentaha lang sa US kay ila gobyerno mu subsidize man sa education ug health sa ila citizens..

but I hope kung kinsa man gani mudaog na presidente sa US this is only what I would like to say to them.. BE a MAN of their WORD.. so that other world leaders will follow their good example..

    End of conversation to me..

part mana sa responsibility sa leader of a superpower. As far as I know, the reason musugot rasad ang Filipino government aning in-ani nga relationship is because they need a power they can run to when in the rough (may it be a calamity, or a very strong and very restless neighbor.) I think naa ra jud na sa Philippine government how to deal with the Americans' meddling with their affairs. They can simply say "No", but they shouldn't expect their assistance in the future. In this way, the Philippines will make the U.S. stay committed to their affairs and interests.

Ron Paul, who claims he is a non-interventionist, can't run away from his obligation as the president of the U.S. Sooner or later, a country will come knocking for help.

I only noticed Ron Paul just December 2011 when his name is one of the GOP presidentiable nominees... I think he is very good candidate for the Republican... Problem is he's lagging behind Romney, Santorum, & Gingrich...

Right now, if Ron Paul could not get the GOP nomination, most Ron Paul will sure re-elect Obama, but not all... Wala may maayu nga Republican candidate except for Ron Paul...
