@sirjeff: what's the main usage of your internet connection? for me a 4MBleased line is sufficient enough for a 30 users, unless everybody is downloading torrent or streaming online.

is there any other way sir aside from fibber optics? kay expensive ra kaayo ang fibber..should i reconfigure the router or propose another router higher that D-link..

To: Sir Wire and Sir Networkguy..salamat kaayu sa mga advice, throughout sa discussion i notice na there's a lot of things that i didn't execute..now regarding sa torrent and streaming onlines nga gi-raised up ni sir wire i could say wala na xa sa mga stations namo sir cuz monitored naku tanan stations dre except nalang sa streaming onlines kay our company is full of programmers and developers and you we know kung unsay ila ginabuhat every hour dili man sad naku pwede e-limit ang resources sa ilaha para ma utilize and connection kay kinahanglanun kaau nila..anyway akong suwayan ang inyo advice sir wala man sad mawala kung ako tistingan...so ako nalang tangtangon ang ethernet access device e-direct nlang naku sa router..

bad man kau akong na experience aning d-link first kay dili ka kuha og internet next openning port not working,
kilat ma putol, naa ma plug nga other network device ma drop, probing lang mo t urok. og bad CS pud ila company.

piro ok ra ang switch nila stable ra pud.

..@bro Dammy, I would suggest to update your firmware into a stable one, you must read first the changes based from a particular firmware you would like to update or upgrade. Sometimes man gud due to the rapid growth sa mga new technologies, evolution, and solutions we can find it that it is not really fully working at all or it is not just fully compatible at all when it tried to adopt the new signaling technologies from the source (so, naki sakay lang ta because, we would not like to buy a new one kay working pah and equipment ug anognan ta...) From that edge, that's the reason why there's a patch or update from time to time posted. Of course we need to check the documents of it and don't forget also the forum's descussion based from thier experience. So that, you would be able to have clues about sa mga feedbacks and ideas what firmware is better.

My point in here is that all are caused by Firmware issues and updates not its Name. FYI.

1st i-verify kun tinood ba ng 4MB nga gihatag sa isp. i-isolate lang una ang network and use 1 pc to test the speed aron naa sad kay basihan inig reklamo nimo nga slowdown ka.
2nd try to access the pldt modem, i-check ang iya actual line rate basin wala na kaabot ug 4MB kay naa instance nga masayop ug config ang isp sa g.shdsl port sa dslam, it should be annex g ang mode to support 4Mbps.
3rd after the G.SHDSL modem sa pldt, adto dayon itusok ang connection a router, then ang switch. it should be G.SHDSL modem>Router?switch?workstn
4th try to replace ur router. i have bad experience w/ dlink router. 30% lang ang cpu utilization bagsak na ako network.
