morag mas higher man siguro ang GTX580 sa HD6970 Boss (correct me if i'm wrong), ang GTX570 ug GTX295 man siguro ang kaatbang sa HD6970. For GTX580, ang HD5970 or HD7950 ang iyang counterpart pod..

Here's how the 2120 scales on normal games like BF3. No difference in framerate compared to its elder brothers.




On Skyrim which is noted to be a cpu-hog, here's how it scales.



Anyway, panagsa ra man ang games pareha ani. Mostly video card-bound ang mga games. Furthermore, 50fps is very decent..

thanks for this very useful info... indeed, it would be nice to have a powerful gpu... the budget intended for any i7 upgrade would now be directed to the gpu budget... so, for the gpu's case, the latest technology would be the better choice right?

again, thanks... it relaxes my mind now...

by the way, my current monitor is just 20"... max resolution is just 1600 x 900... i'm planning to buy another one... 23 or 24 inches...but maybe, i can stretch my budget to a size 27... more than these sizes, the price is too much for a once in a while gamer like me...

OP - have both these cards at the moment. gtx 580 is a better card than the 6970. for bf3 minimal ra ang difference and both cards will play it smoothly on ultra setting basta 1080p lang resolution.

The above graph shows settings at high, no MSAA @ 1920 res. Ultra settings and 4XMSAA will be a different story.

A note about MSAA in BF3 - dako kaayo ni nga factor especially sa ATI cards. if this is turned on then the average and minimum fps in the graph would decrease to below 30's for the 6970 and maybe high 30's on the 580.
