Mayweather has been ducking Cotto for a while, as well as Margarito. It's known naman sad nga naay tendency si Mayweather mu-duck. Ang in-denial rajud ani nga fact are flomos. PBF is a great boxer, but to deny that he doesn't duck. hogwash.

Sigurista lang jud kaayo ni siya, he's not the type to push the envelope. If you're going to say Pacquiao-Marquez III was controversial, then you definitely have to say PBF-DLH was controversial as well.

I don't agree with the notion that Pas is/was ducking PBF too, that's some reversal being puled by PBF's camp. Pac camp agreed to 50/50 purse, if Floyd claims that he is antsy to fight with Pac he should be biting that--not demand a bigger purse. How can you accuse the other camp of ducking when you are asking for an incentive (ie a bigger purse) from the other party?

My take on this fight:
speed - mayweather
power - cotto
ring generalship - mayweather

scenario: mayweather will impose his speed early on as he will take on cotto on the early rounds. mayweather will still pot shot cotto then back pedals taking cotto on points early rounds. cotto will try to adjust as he will go for the body and impose his strength. If mayweather feels the sting of the punches, he'll continue on with his strategy of punch then back pedals. Cotto may get a few rounds but mayweather will be stubborn on his strategy of picking his shots and making sure not getting hit on the process. On mid and later rounds, cotto will be frustrated as he will take mayweather on the inside and not let the fight go the distance. But mayweather will be too quick and smart as he will continue to evade cotto and in the process pot-shooting cotto.
Prediction: Mayweather by UD

Side-note: if mayweather will be fighting cotto toe-to-toe and won't be too stubborn to follow his game-plan of hit-and-run, the fight may be different and I may have it either Mayweather by close decision or Cotto by KO.

Mayweather will confuse and frustrate Cotto by switching from fighting defensively to fighting aggressively in different rounds...
