I had this before. It was just as virus. My anti-virus that time was the free AVG, which failed to detect the virus. I formatted XP and installed a different anti-virus. Never had it since.

Sakto! scan lang usa jud.. ayaw dayon change ug parts... mahal ra ba ang HDD tawn... virus pud kay mag cgeg gamit sa imong system resources mao mo crash mahurot ang memory.... then do a fresh install of your OS... reformat lng sa jud bai kay basin OS errors rani... sa registry cguro sad ni... if kapoyan ka mag reformat then install AVG PC TUNEUP 2012 ug CCleaner... these will clean your system and even defrag your registry files... then clean your hardware... e-blower imong mga components para limpyo ang system, limpyo sad ang hardware.... limpyo tanan.. after doing this then naa pa gani na imong problema... then do this...

1. tang-tanga imong ram.. bilin ug usa itaud... if mogana, then do this sa imong other ram.. para ma test if naa bay guba sa imong rams... if naay guba then dont use that ram... if wa gani...then do the same for your slots... sa pikas slot na pud... 1 slot at a time to test if wa bay guba sa imong slots sa ram... if u found out naay guba then dont use that ram slot... ang usa lang usa gamita... palit lng unya bag-o mobo puhon... if wa gani mo problema then proceed next...

2. try a different power supply... pang huwam if naa kay kahulman.... don't buy anthing unless necessary na jud or proven na nga mao jud guba... sayang money bro... try to play again.. if naa japon ang problem then dili ang supply imong guba ana...

3. try daw balhin imong display using onboard graphics.. if mawala gani ang prob then sa video card na nimo... try a different video card... panghuwam gihapon if possible... medyo karaan nsad ng 9400gt though its still capable...

4. Try to check your HDD before replacing it... katong Hard disk sentinel oh... para ma check nimo ang health status....

If naa pa gani imong problem... ayaw nalang duwa ana nga game... most probably naa nay issues... labi na if cracked ra... or old na nga game... just like sa akong Heroes III sauna... cgeg ka crash akong pc... halos every 5 minutes kanang ako ng turn to move... so I always save my progress every so often para malampos.... Even Skyrim released an update to fix a bug that will crash your game if a player does something random in a certain area...
