nope, not in the near future but i don't see myself having a long-term career in the contact center industry it just not too stable enough for me. it's just good for getting by. just my 2 cents though...

i'm just not comfortable with the idea of the existence of a non-compete clause. it's like a company owns you or you are beholden to one company or institution. this is precisely the reason why this is not allowed in more "sensible" countries or state for that matter. "damn republicans!" hehe!!

they always pair a non-compete clause with a confidentiality clause. i am comfortable with a confidentiality clause. the non-compete clause acts as a double safeguard to the confidentiality clause to PREVENT spilling out your previous employer's beans. But hey didn't they ever realize that a person can still do that even if the competitor won't officially hire him as a regular employee and still pay the snitch? i believe that a confidentiality clause will hold even without the non-compete clause.

these shrewd companies are just after their OWN security by putting a person on a tight leash without considering each individual's personal financial stability & welfare.

ya non-competitve agreement with other(certain call centers) for a period of 6mos - 1 yr. more like 6 months daw ingon tong hr sa convergys:P

i just got hired by convergys and i hv no xperience in col center.. my basic is 13k plus 3500 transpo nd fud allownce.. not included pa ang nyt diffrntials nd holidays..that's for probationary only.. d basic wud increase if ul b regular nah.. nd wd regards d cla mu hire frm othr col cnter, i wud dsagree bcoz i do have kauban na hire nd she's from ps.. then i also hv kaila from ps and dey also hire ppl hu hd xprience frm othr cmpany.. wd regards s bnefits, m not really familiar but we hv health nsurance nd life nsurance.. deyv also dscussed additional compensation if ul get regular or if ul reach mor dan a year wd dm.. i cnt really xplain furthr coz im just new pa m not familiar p kaau..bsta try to apply lng.. all col center company has its own ups nd downs man pd.. u cnt really find a perfect one.. i am currently employed in CVG for 3years and running... at first my basic was 14k plus 3,500 meal and transpo allowance.. not including night diffs and holidays... when i got regular, it increases for appraisal, when i hit prod... we have this thing called CSCP.. when u hit the passing scorecard for 3 months.. u are already qualified for CSCP.. additional pay by the way u perform on top of your basic.. for health insurance, i had vehicular accident last feb with my husband (who works in PS).. his health insurance sucks coz he cannot be admitted unless he pays cash and then get the hospital receipt to be reimbursed in ps... wat kind of health insurance is that? so he signed the waiver in CDU since he has no money during that time.. while I using my intellicard with no money in hand was immediately admitted with no hassle... it depends per company though.... i had no regrets working in CVG

same here. almost 2 years w/ CVG. im from ETEL (Dell) then transferred to CVG (Win7), so far so good.
