there is no certainty. the statistical data you get from that is merely a quatitative expression of "what is more likely" or "what is more possible" i dont think you get a 100% could you? having to account the margin of errors and other factors.

Statistic with all its .1 and .2 is merely a test of plausibility to the object observe, but reality boils down to a yes or no, right or wrong, even if you get a statistical data that would translate to a 90% possibility of the likelihood of the hypothesis, in reality it ends up perceived as either yes or no, happens or doesnt happens.

what about people praising during sinulog by the sea (whatever they call it)... then without warning disaster strikes. not months, not weeks, not days but in an instant people died including helpless children.... what about this?

Ok. Fingolfin will be included in that list... and something bad will happen to him. As to the estimated time and occurence of event I DON'T KNOW. :b

The point is, life is full of thorns... and full of benedictions, both to the rich and poor and to the big or small.... And sh1t happens... even to the godly.

oh yeah i had that "why do bad things happen to good people?" questioning too.

i just settled it with, "this isn't garden of eden...it's a fallen world. God is not to blame for everything that happens." the consequences of the sins of others can fall on good people. for example, drug abuse victimizes families, strangers, etc. Drunk driving can kill pedestrians or passengers.

Fearing the victimization all the time can be a waste of time, right? so i guess it's better to
pray for strength to cope with the shit in life. we will all die anyway, so while alive, live well, actualize, fulfill your calling, get meaning out of life, help others, love, be happy. life doesn't gurantee smooth sailing so it's a conscious decision.

and then die. get to heaven, be with God, and be in a place where there's no more fear.

they are all subject to death/destruction.. one way or another..
it doesn't matter if they have mocked god, or praised him... the fact remains that they will die someday.. so its not really surprising.. , if they lived 1000years more.. then that would be surprising and amazing
