    Hues

she, for whom a pedestal was built,
for the known and unknown, that which gathers
the laments of lovers. she, for whom light
was meant to falter in yet glorify at once,
she is this and that, yet never these.

she, for whom thousands marched unflinching,
where every laden step speaks of faith,
that which leaden arms beckon, offerings
of love, of piety, of the humblest humility,
she is and is not, yet never was.

she, for whom candles burned and seethed and yearned,
as far as sightless eyes can see, that which sears
the very being, the essence, the soul. she,
for whom darkness mocks, yet in jealous rage,
she is all and none, yet she is some.

she, for whom pages flowed as rivers of need,
when every inkdrop is as a tear fallen,
that which silently screams, desires rekindled,
of passion, of hunger, of the deepest ache,
she is you and she is me, yet never we.

    Pasko sa Kasakit

    Ang kalibutan nagmaya,
    Ang katawhan nag-saulog
    Ni'ng pagkatawo sa balaang bata
    Ang kalipay daw niduyog

    Apan taliwala sa maong kasadya
    Nanghulga ang kasakit
    Bisan ni'ng panahon sa himaya
    Adunay nag-ung-ong nga kapait

    Angayan ba nga maglipay-lipay kita
Kun daghan ang naglisod ug nagsubo
Ug kun ang pipila ka kaigsuonan ta
    Sa problema nakigbuno?

    Pipila sa kaigsuonan ta
    Ang nabiktima sa kalamidad
    Ug dili na maihap pa
    Ang mga nangamatay

Angayan ba gihapon isaulog ang pasko?
Amigo, ikaw na lang ang mag-igo

    *-----------------------------*

I was initially planning to submit this in a local paper, but di na man nako matiwas and uwahi na man. Ari na lang.

Kato ni pagkahitabo sa Sendong sa Iligan og CDO:

Sendong miabot ka nga wala damha
    Daw kawatan ang tanan nangangha
Sa imong kabangis nga way sama

Tungod gikuha mo ang tanan nga way panamilit

Bisan pa man kini sakit nga dawaton
Iliganon dili angay mawadan-an sa pagla-om
Sa kanunay naa ang labaw nga makagagahom
Og Senyor San Miguel nga atong Patron

Iliganon ayaw itugot nga malubong sa kaguol
Karon ang higayon nga angay mag tambayayong
Kristyano, Lumad o Muslim, kita dapat maghiusa
BANGON OG PADAYON sa pag uswag ILIGAN!

Paxenxa.i lng mga istoryans. . . Highschool pq ani na poem since ako ni nabuhat. . . . It was a product of a mere challenge to someone. . . Naa pay daghan ani. para makit.an nn.u ang other works. . kindly check it here. (http://flud-yikes.blogspot.com/) xenxa la na ni maintain2 na blog.

As we meet I admit I am happy,
But if we’re away I feel so empty,
Memories shared are kept and remember,
And my day brightens if your voice I’ve heard.

If there’s a day that I will make you cry,
I won’t show my face to you coz I’m shy,
It feels like hell as time passes by,
But one things for sure that all day I’ll cry.

For years I’m bound with the chains of sadness,
And year had drive me from total madness,
I’ve met you and you showed me happiness,
And changed the atmosphere of loneliness.

As the moment that we are together,
This feeling inside is getting stronger,
And decided to let you move further,
But still this feeling is growing bigger.

Everyday it’s your face my eyes seeks,
And at night you are the thoughts of my dreams,
And the loneliness I feel really hurts,
That has given me this wounds and aches.

It left a scar that aches if you I see,
But just heal if you give a smile on me,
Now i can say that I’m in love to thee,
And this helps me pf what I want to be.

Before the curtains for this poem closes,
Your friendly love is what I misses,
I leave not just because of this illness,
Coz my love for you is getting intense

dwell over summits of towering parnassus

This is like a poem signifying the need of a certain longing (may signify sexual intercourse). Second stanza might just imply penetration as the heavenly gates depict and the towering parnassus portrays the male phallus. The introjection at the end kind of tips the whole emotion of the poem also might be expressing fellatio. Anyway, that's how I viewed the poem. It was too abstract and needed substance.

    Sillhoutte of my pain

through the years of hiding reality
    undying realms of bitter memories
i stood amidst the dark black hole
a place of comfort tremendous healing for the soul

i fell into the abyss of loneliness
my young heart burst with full emptiness
a face of an angel sweet, which led me to my last defeat

i lived a life of contentment
where a pure heart once had been
but the presence of this pain
led me nowhere but to insanity

    warm smiles but wounded inside
i betrayed myself from the start
    shame ruled my wholebeing
the least of my expectations are much clearer now...

fate is playing a trick on me somehow

a poem i made way back in 2004...
thanks for the chance to let me share my work

    Desire

    Desire
We sat closely side by side
    Our bodies touching and communicating
    strange energies
Each eager, each longing for intimate
    contact

    Desire
You turned to look at me
I turned to look at you
    You quickly withdrew and looked
    the other way

    Desire
    You have soft shoulders
    and soft arms

    Desire
    You're pretending to be asleep
    bowing your head
inviting me to study your body

    Desire
    I looked at your hands
They are quite callous but attractive
    You have soft thighs
    and round knees

    Desire
You turned me on with your
    pretty face
    your office uniform
    and your age
    (probably early 30s)

    Desire
I am stiff I cannot move
    I want to know you
    to be your lover
to stretch my arms around you
    and feel your warmth

    Desire
I want to feel your entire skin
    pressed against my pores
I want to feel your pressure
    and breathe your breath

    Desire
I want to dance with your soul
    in ecstacy

    Desire
Dancing in my body like fire
    Circulating in my veins
    Swelling in my chest
    Begging glorious release

I saw the movie, Art of Valor, the other day and I was so touched by this poem. I don't really know if you can call it a poem, but it was a beautiful creation nonetheless.

    Live Your Life

"So live your life that the fear of death can never enter your heart. Trouble no one about their religion; respect others in their view, and demand that they respect yours. Love your life, perfect your life, beautify all things in your life. Seek to make your life long and its purpose in the service of your people. Prepare a noble death song for the day when you go over the great divide. Always give a word or a sign of salute when meeting or passing a friend, even a stranger, when in a lonely place. Show respect to all people and grovel to none. When you arise in the morning give thanks for the food and for the joy of living. If you see no reason for giving thanks, the fault lies only in yourself. Abuse no one and no thing, for abuse turns the wise ones to fools and robs the spirit of its vision. When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home."

Tecumtha (1768? - 5 October 1813) Native American leader, Shawnee mystic and warrior, usually known as Tecumseh Quoted by Lee Sulzman in Shawnee History
