I call this: "Western-conquered mentality". A government that allows foreign companies to control our culture and mentality. e.g., not supporting the Filipino inventions and the inventors, usurpation of taxes for selfish reasons (like buying house and lot in the US or in a well known country - "kay para ma-ingon jud nga datu"), buying of well known foreign brands aron para social sad kunuhay and etc.

I love our country but given this once in a lifetime opportunity, I will surely pick either Japan or London. I can always come back and visit my family and friends here. Hehehe!

OT: i cant bear to be part of this corrupt system im proud to be in a Filipino
but im very disappointed jud sa atong government nga iyahay lang ug pangloklok sa bulsa,
pwerte natong kayod, then kuhaon tag tax, para unta sa atong isig ka pinoy, ang uban nga naas lower society matabangan, then ang atong mga karsada ug palibot mapanindot, diba mao man unta nay angay padulngan sa tax nga atong gibayad??

to sum it up...
In our beloved country the Philippines..we work(very hard) to get by day by day with a "little extra"
If a person wants to save a significant amount of money, he/she has to cut down on expenses..no travel, gadgets,coffee shops,shopping..etc.. A person can have and do all that was mentioned above but at the expense of not having a significant amount if savings....


If a person works/migrates abroad, he/she can have both...
