The Xperia Play is a joke and should never be purchased by anyone who is looking for "gaming" on a phone... or a phone in general.

it is thick and unwieldy, with low battery life. Touchpads instead of analog sticks? lol wut.for a Gaming phone, it has an Adreno 205 GPU which is the bare minimum for rendering 3D Games on android... have fun trying to play HD Games on it.

I had a test unit for a week and i couldn't bare with the Xperia Play because it just feels so odd in my hand... and the sliding mechanism is weird..

Xperia Arc would be a better choice even though the specs are the same... the screen makes up for it.
