Okay all financial reasoning put aside. here's what you should do if you are buying a new or building a new pc. DITCH the Pentium based chips as they are over rated and over priced. I highly suggest going with AMD chips since over 75% of the gamers in the US use AMD because they are far mroe reliable and better in terms of performance to price ratio, not only this but if you are going to tingle in the area of overclocking if you have a good cpu fan AMD will belittle Pentium anyday of the week. I have not met one serious gamers yet who uses Pentium for gaming extremes. Go to any site like dell xps or alienware chances are they are using the AMD chips.

On the contrary, I've seen Intel's new Core 2 Duo in action against Athlon's dual core offerings (the X2s). An officemate of mine has two systems completely identical (lucky bastard), save for the motherboard and the processors. He benchmarked both systems and noted there were some games where the Core 2 Duo outdid the X2, and in most games pare-pareha ra ug performance. In my opinion, makacompete na ang new crop of Intel processors with Athlon's babies.

pangit na nga mobo. mas ok pa nang foxconn with intel 945chipset nga mobo.

for your setup, you have to use the ddr2 because mao ra man nay compatible sa imo mobo. dili na backwards compatible and ddr ug ddr2.
