when globe goes down you have pldt...when pldt goes down you have globe....0.000009% downtime

None! All their tech support reps don't know squat when it comes to troubleshooting. I'd bet they don't even know the whole concept of DSL/HSI, how it works, where it comes from and the history of it all!

Just pray that you are near any of those telcos' central offices so you'd be within their range. The nearer you are to the central office, the faster your speed is.

And one more thing, always expect downtime/maintenance.
