based on my observation yesterday at least about 50% of those who registered are not there to join the photo contest. They registered so that they get the privilege to get into the parade route and get a better view of the sinulog and of course picture picture sad. I saw some using celphones to take pictures hunahunaa kuno kung pang contest ba na! This was the fear i had before when they increased the number of IDs printed.

i would like to take back my words in one of my replies here a few weeks or so ago. Exactly! it's clear no matter how much...as long as daghan kaayo ang photogs allowed wa juy ayo. Ang mga tao sa kilid mutoman raman na sila sa cordon ug mga nagbantay as long as they can see the dance. SO, clearly its the number of photogs ang problema. If there are only a few...then obviously wala na ilugay...wala nay sikhanay. kay naa namay space ang tanan. HOW do you make this happen? simple. DAPAT gamay ra ang participating photogs. It would also be easy for the marshalls/cordon people to confront non-registered/fake photogs and bring them out. Unsaon pagpagamay sa photogs? simple. There are a lot of ways how to choose kinsa dapat ang maka participate. One thought i had was if there are 2,000 na gusto mo-apil, i-spread out ni sila sa 3 ka Sinunlog. no waiting list, kay molihok nasad ang kwarta sa mga kwartahan. Meaning, the most wait a photog can do is 3 years. mo-register ka karon unya makashoot ka sa 2015 pa. which is good pwede nimo mabaid imong abilidad, unya SFI will get the best photos. Kay wana may tinukmoray. di na sad ta iduot sa mga bouncers kay gamay naman lang di man kaayo samaok. Policing the dance line while nagproblema paka to make sure nga naa kasawayan imong participants...di jud mada oi...naa man jud nay mga baga ug nawng na mosud. kasagaran mga chicks na newbee photogs, unya di dayon banlungon sa nagbantay...nya mag-ilog na dayon.

I'm willing to wait that long basta nindot lang akong makuha na photos. kay it's getting rediculous na jud. This way everyone wuill have a chance.

Now for the big question: mosugot ba ani ang SFI? unsaon nalang ang minilyon na income? based on what we've seen...importante ang kwarta para nila...but it should be more important to them to be able to facilitate an event na pleasant for everyone kay sila man ang gitahasan ani sa city government.. After all, this event is for everyone...unya makakita tanan not just Cebuanos.

If they don't really care about the money, then they should print less IDs, ideally around 300 ra.

There is no way photogs can be policed unless magkuha silag different group just for that. di sad na pwede ang mga lengthy check sa identity...parade baya ni. i-limit lang jud ang mga tao na maglakaw-lakaw sa sulod...that includes photogs. nahimo nang nuisance ang mga photogs. kung himoon sad natong 5K di na mo-make ug sense...dili magpasabot na maka-afford ka ug 5k naa kay pamatasan. So balik ra gihapon ang problema sa manapaw ug mo-macro.

for everyone to have their turn...then we should wait. mao man ni inyong gibalik balik diba...respitaray, give chance, take turns. SFI should be the one implementing the taking of turns. SO i think they should limit the participants. This will greatly play in their favor...although not financially. kay right now...i really see them as incompetent sa pag-facilitate sa event. Unya di ta kailangan mabalaka sa premyo...unsa diay gamit sa sponsor (Canon)?

Plus, the waiting will help for much better photos, kay makaplano man ta'g maayo. it will also be esaier on our pockets. there will be time to brief/siminar the photogs. daghan pwede na nindot na possibilities....

so maabot ang point na magsubay nalang nya ati to get a good spot....mag-bouncer nalang ta, di nalang mo-shoot ug photos? I'm sorry but this is lazy thinking. Wa mo ka-appreciate sa desire sa mga taw na ma-organize ug tarong ang event?
