Mga bros, just bought a DVD movie sa U.S. What I know is ang capacity sa DVD is around 4.7GB pero pag check nako sa akong DVD-ROM, the total space aning movie na take is 8.7GB.

Na-ay available diri Cebu anang big capacity na DVD+R or DVD+RW na blanks?

Diba ang dual-layer na DVD, data can be stored 4.7GB at each side? Kaning DVD movie kay 1 side ra unya 8.7GB data na store.

Yes thats normal for a Dual-Layer, the other one your referring is Double sided.

pwede diay na masplit... hhmmm... ako man gud gusto na ang original disc nako ako tagoan then ang giburn lang ang sige pasalidahon para dili magasgas ang orig mahal ra ba. dugay ra man gud ko nangita og barato na dual layer nya mahal man. naa sa mga 300+.

What you are exactly looking for is a single sided, dual layer disc... a DVD9
you can occasionally buy them from shops like CDR King for a premium price (medyo mahal), ga wonder gani ko where we can acquire the generic DVD9 discs used by pirates (pirated movies )

or you can split your DVD9 movie into two DVD5's (regular 4.7gb)... using proggies like DVD Fab and the likes.

coz dili mana dual layer ang pirates disks, gamay ra kaayo ang percentage dual layer
