The Technologian Student Press is now in it's
fourth year of sponsoring an Inter-Collegiate Debate
dubbed as " A Parliament Amongst Us ". This is in
consonance to the commitment of the Press to
promulgate awareness and to help in the growth of
the Filipino Youth. The said event will be having its
FINAL ROUND on January 26, 2005 at 2-5PM to
be held at the CIT gymnasium.

The two collges who have done it to the Finals are
the two archrivals- the College of Commerce and
Computer Studies. The two debating team will
showcase their forensic skills in this year's
proposition: "Resolved that the Sangguniang
Kabataan (SK) be abolished". Meanwhile, the
newcomer, the College of Nursing only have gone
so far to the Semi-finals. Great cash prizes await
the winners of the sponsored event.

The event would not be successful without the help
of the CIT administration, Mrs. Elsa J. Miral,
Department Chair of the Student Affairs Office,
College Deans, SMART Telecommunications,
Philippine Christian Book Store (PCBS),
McDonald's, Nature's Spring, and the concerted
effort of the members of The Technologian Student
Press.

This year's editorial staff are as follows:

Christian Bookstore, CIT Canteen, CIT
Administration and Philippine Spring Water
Resources Inc. and of course the the TTSP
members and advisors. (Special thanks to
the former Editors: Farley, 3tan, Wena, and
Glojane!)This was held last January 26, 2004
at the CIT gymnasium.

The College of Commerce emerged as victor
in the said educational debate over its
archrival, the College of Computer Studies.
The two debating team showed their forensic
skills in this year's proposition: "Resolved,
that the total log ban be implemented in the
Philippines."( A last minute change!) Meanwhile, the newcomer, the
College of Nursing only have gone so far to
the Semi-finals.
