Nope, forgiving him/her is not a reason to accept or take him/her back. You already know that he/she just fooling you, so why take him/her back?
That's the reason why I said never forget, just forgive. You might still love him/her but love is not always enough for the two person to be together especially if the other parties is just fooling you over and over again.
