its a fiesta!! jeez. unlike other religion (since i sense target on roman catholics here), roman catholics holds festivals.. a.k.a fiestas. a.k.a celebration a.k.a being happy not killjoys like the others yes. we celebrate with others... (muslims selling there goods, chinese selling there foods, badjaos on there different begging techniques, and giving peace a chance and having fun)

^ Sir, I'm not targeting Catholics here. As you can see, I'm just answering TS's question. Others have their celebrations also so they are not killjoys.

asking why for this and that... asking how we celebrate things is kinda attacking our way of expressing.. when we say "fiesta" it meant to be fun... yet faithfully connected to the intended celebration. in this case Sr. Sto. Niño.

^ It's just my opinion Sir. Sorry if it does seemed to consider as an attack to you.

Just want to share yesterday's post/article from the Freeman:

Kanus-a man sila makamatngon nga way kuwarta ni kalingawan nga makalabaw sa gipasalig ni Sr. Sto. Niño ug sa Black Nazarene nga ganti alang sa maayong buhat ug tim-os nga pagtuo?

the church has nothing to do with the sinulog foundation.. sinulog foundation is meant for the festivities organization. i think head of the sinulog foundation is mayor appointees- its also a promotion to invite people in our festival since the host city is cebu. leo lastimosa is just being leo lastimosa.. the girly mouth, who like to comment on everything whats hot on the news. typical media thingy

Sir, if you are implying that I am attacking 'your' religion which is the same as 'my' religion, then you are wrong. Mao ni problema sa katilingban karon when it comes to asking questions, dili pwede, automatic dayon naay ma offend. FYI, Catholic pud ko. To be precise, raised as a Catholic but not a devout Catholic. And as a Catholic, dili ba diay pwede mangutana para mas masabtan ang usa ka butang?

I have asked the question because if you open up your mind and really think of it or maybe ask yourself, WHY are you going to the city this coming sunday? Because of Sinulog? What is Sinulog? Do most people even understand what it really is and it's history? What's the first thing that comes to mind when you hear the word Sinulog? The Santo Niño or the margi gras? It is really necessary nga mag hikay kada fiesta? Ask yourself.

Most people and some of you here will probably go to the city this sunday and head straight to the Basillica para mo dagkot or mo simba, ask yourself, kung mo dagkot mo ug mo simba mao na ba na ang pag celebrate ninyo sa Sinulog?

Kung mu ingon diay siya wala na essence ang sinulog karon, mao na jud diay na nahitabo? he is merely stating an opinion and not a fact.
